A gem in the Gothic Quarter. Delicious food, cozy ambiance and outstanding service. Our server was very attentive and offered advice on the best things to try on the menu. The cod and the beef cannelloni were stand outs. Highly recommend trying this wonderful restaurant

An original take on Iberian favourites with delivious resuls. Good balance of hefty and much smaller tapas. Vegetarian options complex and rich. Well-chosen wine list. The building is full of character and the street is a treat. Serice is excellent and seamless, which is not always the case. Surprisingly good value for money.

The food was out of this world. And the waitress the sweetest, most helpful person.

Food is average and over priced. When we paid, they firmed and asked for tip.

The ambience was quite nice, albeit dimly lighted. The food was very basic and bland. I ordered the cannelloni in red wine. I couldnt taste the red win. The meat was incredibly dry. But the cheese gave the dish a creamy (but tasteless) staying power.

Nice place with nice food. Although a bit too small to have a nice romantic dinner for 2. Too close to the people that comes in for a cocktail. Most place really good, as for the cochinillo, the canelones, the steak tartare, however the aubergine nothing special although not bad in any way. They seem to be a bit confused who does what and what I understood is that several of the waiters also makes plates/are the chefs which felt a bit confusing weird. Overall a good place.

The service here was inattentive, but that was not the main issue. We wanted to order dessert and were told that the kitchen was closing -- in was barely 10:30, which is not at all late by Spain standards. If the kitchen were going to close that early, we should have been forewarned so that we could put the order in early. I would not have made a reservation here if I had known we would not be able to have full service. There are plenty of other great restaurants around to waste it on a place that cares this little about its customer service.

While the menu is fairly limited, they had very unique dishes that you wont find anywhere else. We had 4 small plates and a main dish, all excellent in presentation and flavor. We were disappointed by the service. First being seated by the front door, and when we asked to move we were seated right in front of the kitchen. It was 15 minutes to get our drink order taken, after we flagged him down. However, once we placed our food order, the dishes were ready very quickly.

Tapas were original/creative and really tasty, with interesting mix of ingredients. We took croquetas, millefeuille with meat, tortilla and paella with duck confit, all highly recommended. Sangria white wine was really good. Service super friendly and efficient

After seeing the rating and the good reviews on google I was a little bit disappointed by the food tastiness. Presentation of the food was great, like in many pictures. Service was great and helping with the menu items.

It was our first time in Barcelona, visiting from New Zealand, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to dine. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The service was impeccable, and the drinks were fantastic. I had a mojito and my husband enjoyed a red wine, both of which were excellent. The team gave us great recommendations from the menu, and every dish was exquisite. Thank you for a truly exceptional dining experience. It made our evening unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Read the reviews and thought this would be worth a try. Lived up to the reviews and some. The food was excellent, and service even with one waiter down, was attentive and offered some suggestions for house specials of the day and wine pairings that were spot on. The paella is a must try and the hero ingredient changes regularly. We had duck, but the squid with squid ink rice looked and smelled amazing and the pork belly with potatoe purée was right on the money! Went back a second night before leaving Barcelona and it was better second time round Amazing little location and unassuming door that lead to some of the best food experiences of our travel, and the staff were grega

A Memorable Meal at Amades Restobar While visiting Barcelona, our kayak tour guide recommended Amades Restobar—and I’m glad he did. The ox cheek paella I had was fantastic: rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I learned they rotate their paella offerings regularly, which speaks to the creativity of the kitchen—though I only had the pleasure of trying one, I’d gladly return to see what’s next. The low-temperature cod was another highlight—delicate, tender, and beautifully prepared. And don’t skip dessert: the dark beer sponge cake with cherries and coffee ice cream was exceptional. Thoughtful, flavorful, and satisfying—this meal was a true standout.
