I really enjoied the presentation. both food and drinks. The taste of the food, combined with the drinks, created a perfect evening. Congratulations to all involved in this, especially for Jason!

It’s a fabulous place to have an unforgettable dinner. Oysters are done in the most creative and delicious way and the Lobster Beurre Blanc with caviar tops everything in Barcelona. You deserve to dine here

Highly recommend the set menu. The dishes are beautifully presented and very tasty. Especially all the seafood dishes. The service was impeccable and very pleasant. The restaurant’s interior design is very impressive.

The quality of the food was great. The service initially was excellent, but strangely changed about halfway through the dinner, when the waitstaff became quite inattentive. We never did get wine ordered, and staff appeared to pay a lot of attention to some tables but not others. In expensive restaurants, the quality of the food is expected to be good. It is the service that really makes the difference. We were sadly disappointed.

Outstanding service. Beautiful. Food lovely but perhaps I am unfair not to give a higher food rating, I’m just tired of seafood. I crave more greens and vegetables. Our wine was outstanding as was our food. Grilled fish just needs more to it, in my opinion.

Servers were attentive and made an effort. The food was disappointing lacking the finesse and range of flavours expected of a Michelin starred restaurant. Prawns were undercooked. Desserts were the only items that were decent. Space lacked the intimacy and refinement expected and was too noisy.

Unreal food, hake in champagne sauce with caviar probably one of best things I have ever eaten. Staff are faultless.

I expected much more sophisticated dishes, but it was more like interesting than delicious.

This restaurant was a huge disappointment. Everything but especially the staff are so pretentious. Perhaps we could have overlooked that if the dinner had been good. It was terrible! The crab salad was tasteless, the fish chewy-just bad!

Amar is a great restaurant, but the servers need to step up to match the quality of this establishment. We arrived 10 mins early, but we were told to go to the hotel bar because the servers are having a meeting. When we were at the bar, we were approached again that our table was ready, but we were not offered to have our drinks brought to our dining table for us. Finally at our table, I was told that Old Fashioned (from their own menu) isn't available due to a lack of Bourbon, while there are many ways for them to get some, maybe from the hotel bar? When my wife asked for cutlery at the beginning, instead of a "yes ma'am", we heard a lecture about how the butter knife should be enough! So, overall, I'm not really happy with the quality of service. The food itself is great, prepared with care and served with delicacy. At the end, we were satisfied with our overall experience at Amar. But it could've been so much better, have the servers known that it's their duty to serve to their best of abilities, not to dodge or delay service.

A very special dining experience!! The food is utterly amazing and the service is wonderful The ambience will bring your dinning to a memorable event. It really is something very special .

The experience and most of the food was quite good. Our fish was undercooked and not very delicious - at 120 euro, this felt like a big waste. The rest of the meal was quite enjoyable, but the price is very steep. We were in Barcelona for 5 nights - this restaurant was not better than our other meals and cost much more. There are better choices.

The service was not as good as last time. Many workers there but they almost never checked in with our table or poured our wine/water. Bread was old and hard as well. Main dishes were good however.

Complex dishes carelessly prepared, served not warm enough, miniature sizes overpriced, brioche with caviar, oil soaked tiny toast with minimal caviar…. Wine by the glass selection poor!

We came to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, I wanted a special evening. We stepped into the opulent room imaginable, simply beautiful. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and really friendly. The food was stunning and the wine recommendations were excellent. Huge thanks to all of the staff for making our night unforgettable.

It was an exquisite lunch. From the most beautiful interior setting to absolutely the best food in Barcelona!!! Quite an extraordinary place. They deserve a 3 star Michelin rating.

The setting was lovely, if a little stuffy. The starters / oysters were beautifully presented. For main we had a whole grilled fish to share. We had to seperately order fries and vegetables. The fish was £12 per 100g and it weighed 1.4K so really expensive for a simply grilled fish. Disappointing that the sides were seperate too, felt like a normal meal, not a Michelin experience.

The price and quality of the food is not up to par. Disappointed .... The entourage is very good. The restaurant was not full on a Friday night and the staff was inattentive. The wine list is very good. I won't be back for sure ????
