10/10Quite magical from our arrival to the end of the meal. Since we live locally we have seen the re-development of this building and we were curious to see the finished result. We were not disappointed. Arriving in the car park with Christmas lights making a fairytale ambiance, the inside of the restaurant gives a warm homely feeling. The menu offers different fixed price menu including a vegetarian option plus à la carte and specials. My wife chose this and I chose the ‘special’ the Japanese beef as a treat. Both were excellent in terms of quality and quantity. The young waiter gave excellent advice and the service was attentive. We had a Pinot Noir Zellenburg that was reception. This is a restaurant for special occasions… and although expensive the quality / price ratio is just right.
