Very good restaurant - food was delicious and served very quickly. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

We went for our 44th wedding anniversary and nothing was too much trouble. They had given us a special table, beautifully decorated, with a heart shaped candle. They brought us a glass of champagne each on the house as a celebration. Staff were fantastic, so friendly and with a great sense of humour. Food was equally fantastic, some very different things on the menu than other places we had eaten earlier in the week. Tuna tatiki was particularly good! All in all, highly recommended, would definitely revisit if in Olhão again. Many thanks to everyone for making our anniversary dinner so memorable.

Great sushi rolls and they have rice paper for those of us who don't like the seaweed paper.

A lovely place on the front in Olhao. First time we visited. Sushi is amazing. We also had black risotto with prawns and squid and swordfish. Both delicious. Service very good. Would recommend and will definitely come back.

Lovely setting and lovely food when the right things got to us 2nd time. Waiters could listen a bit more and focus as seemed to keen to say hi to passers by.

Sushi was delicious but service was very very slow, although staff was super nice. Go on a day where you have nothing to do and it will be great.

Have been many times and really enjoyed, last night was terrible, service shocking. We had to wait for drinks, food came at different times children left not fed while adults had eaten. It took 2 hours before the final main course arrived. Other tables received main meals despite ordering after us. We are really disappointed and there was no apology. Don’t think we will be back despite good food.

Lovely meal prawns fabulous, Curry great. Good sized Portions will be back before holiday over.

Love it! And keep coming back! Delicious and great value! Plus view to the sea. On other side, there is a playground and monkey bars, so if you have older children, you can enjoy your desert or coffee while your children play…

I have been to Ammar i Mar many times: it never disappoints. The food is excellent (especially when it's sushi time), the staff is courteous.

Pleasant staff. Empty restaurant. Waiter who served us had just finished smoking a cigarette and we smelt it off him! Yuck! Other waiter was a trainee and could not describe the food, so we asked him to ask the chef. Food was nicely presented but nothing special. 2 main courses, 2 glasses of wine, coffee.. 55€ including tip. Would I recommend? No… there are plenty more options in Olhao…

From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant is amazing! The food is absolutely delicious and the cocktail bar excellent. Also, the staff is very kind and friendly so it's a place you can't miss in Olhão.

Unfortunately we arrived at the restaurant to see the see front/ marina hidden by an exhibition that was taking place. Which spoiled the evening.

The waiters were extremely friendly and the service was excellent. The food was amazing! We ordered for starters: Oysters, tempura shrimp and tuna tataki and for the mains: salmon with a delicious mango sauce and tuna with a great mustard sauce. 100% recommended!!

We had a beautiful meal in lovely surroundings with very attentive and friendly staff. It was our first meal in Olhao and has set a very high bar for the other restaurants we may visit in our time here. We will certainly be back.

We have returned here many times after first discovering it three years ago. The food is excellent, the staff are great. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

Very good sushi quality, we ordered a mix and all the pieces were good, the service was always really nice. Only took a bit of time for the order to arrive but since there was a previous group also ordering sushi is understandable

It was a great lunch with friends. The food was absolutely stunning. We can highly recommend the white fish ceviche, the almond prawns and as a main the salmon poke bowl. Amazing!!!

We had dinner here two times last summer, and had great expectations when we came back this time. Unfortunately, those were far from met. The food was overall good, some even great, but some of the maki rolls with salmon were off. Service started good, but no one came over during the meal after the initial serving, for instance to pour up more wine, ask how we were with the food etc. And the restaurant was not busy at all - the waiters were simply overseeing us this time... Will not come back as there are plenty of really good options in Olhão.

Food here is really really good. We eat a lot of sushi and this was up there with some of our top sushi experiences. Very friendly staff. Great wine selection and well priced

Excellent fusion food with local ingredients. We enjoyed fish carpaccio (with ponzu, like Nobu new world sashimi), salmon tacos (more like salmon tartar in tacos), burrata salad with prosciutto. Waiter was super friendly and the plates were unique and dishes nicely decorated
