7/10It was a bit of a disappointing meal. The service was good, the food was beautifully presented, but sadly lacked much flavour and was not at all warm. The beef fillet with foie was particularly flavourless and particularly beautiful on the cold plate. The French fries were limp and obviously not fresh. The chocolate experience dessert again was a work of art to please the eye, but unremarkable on the palate.

9/10Service and ambiance were excellent. Very attentive waitress and maitre d. Very nice Valencia wine was recommended. Presentation of the food was very nice but the croquetas de sepia was over salted.

+1Such a quiet, refined setting. Great for TALKING and enjoying good food, all plated in a very original matter! They have a great lunch menu.. so we didn’t use the Fork discount that I had reserved that day .

8/10On Sunday night we decided to take the 7course ‘Menu Degustacion Ampar’ à 75€/person. Some fun disguised elements, quite heavy on meat, didn’t like what they did to the bacalau… Shame that not all the staff were dressed in nice white shirts, in a classy place/hotel like that you don’t expect staff in a sleeping t-shirt????

3/10Food is terrible!!! Croquettes served cold... we send them back and they put the same croquettes in the oil ..... they came back as pudding .... then the risotto was prepared with bouillon of very bad quality with greasy meat and an empty langoustine .... don’t go there !!!!!!

5.5/10I’m not sure what happened as Ampar is usually very good, but it was terribly disappointing last night. We ordered the Ossobuco Ravioli which have been delicious in the past, but they were simply terrible. Rather than soft ravioli filled with juicy meat and served with ossobuco gravy, what arrived at our table were cold, dry potstickers. We sent them back and the second time they were warm, but burned and still dry. We couldn’t eat them The lovely bone with marrow was attractive but also inedible. We couldn’t get a fork into the marrow to taste it. Our starters were supposed to be ham croquettes but they were huge potato filled dumplings. Just not a good meal.

8/10Nice place, nice service and nice terrace. Good variety of starters and main courses. I would recommend to the chef to improve the deserts. I think that the desert has to be superb and in this case was not. But I recommend this place. Best, Q

10/10Really amazing food and excellent service. I highly recommend the dates corequetas with jamon on top, the crusty is just perfect, especially if accompanied with a mineral and fruity white wine. To carry on, we had the T-bone with galician sauce, just amazing ????. My friend had the tuna and it was very fresh and tasty. Finally the deserts are very original, especially the black forest cake. A very nice evening thanks to the waiter, waitress and cook. Thank you very much !!!

9/10Delicious food, lovely atmosphere. Excellent slow roasted lamb that fell off the bone, tender and juicy; ossobuco ravioli full of flavor. Sadly, the menu degustación is only available if shared by the entire table so we had to decide between that and a la carte. We went for the degustación which was excellent but too much food at dinner time. Next time we would save it for lunch and go with a la carte for dinner.

9.5/10Lovely restaurant with great lunchtime menu - especially for fish and seafood lovers on the day we went. Tallerines (mini-clams) to start were well cooked and served with a delicious sauce, The main course fideua with prawns was flavourful and the desserts home-made>. I enjoyed my taste-bombs of tiny fruit jellies with ice-cream. A fruity Valencian Verdejo chilled white wine complemented it all. Service was attentive and the interior garden lined with plants and fruit trees but with shelter from impending rain or sun. Lovely and recommended.

8.5/10it just started to rain. So table all wet.. So we asked to move our table. Better when they did it instead of letting us waiting sitting in the rain. We almost wanted to leave. but we moved. We took a la carta. I don't eat meat so.. menu always with meat.. Nice dishes small.. not warm enough but it s al because of the weather and food came from far. Recommendable restaurant. Enjoyed it very much.. It was a special occasion.. Great memories.

8/10The food is really good and sitting outside, even if it is colder is quite alright because of heaters that are available. Service was first quite unfriendly but turned later to be quite good. Food is compared to the prices good to very good.
