I had high hopes based on the good reviews. Food was ok, though it was nothing special. The prices are higher than other better Iranian restaurants in town. The restaurant is small and cramped, not comfortable at all. Service was cold, and the waiter told me I couldn’t order a grillades dish for my two small children to share, we much each order a separate dish! Never experienced this anywhere else in Geneva. We won’t be going back as repeat customers.

The waiters were very nice and allowed us to move our reservation by 45 mins and still keep the discount. There was a long wait for the food to come, but it was delicious! Great first experience of Persian cuisine!

I consider myself very particular when it comes to food, and I have to say—I was pleasantly surprised by Anar. The food and service were truly excellent! So good, in fact, that I’m already planning to return from Lausanne, this time with my husband. I sincerely hope Anar continues to maintain its high standards in food, service, and ambiance.

Refined and delicious cuisine . Friendly and welcoming service. The interior is clean and nicely decorated. The toilet is spotless! Well worth the full price we would have paid without the Fork. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience dining at this Iranian restaurant. The rice was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and fragrant. The ice cream was very unique, with a flavor I’ve never tried before, and I really enjoyed it. The staff were incredibly friendly and even treated me to a complimentary dessert, which was such a kind gesture. Overall, it was a wonderful experience！

An absolutely delightful experience! The flavors were rich and authentic, the kebabs were perfectly grilled, and the saffron rice was aromatic and delicious. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A true taste of Persian cuisine—I’ll definitely be coming back!😃😃

Sadly, even though she's very nice, the server doesn't speak French or English, so that made things difficult, and also there was only one server for the whole place so she was inefficient and there was kitchen noise, dropping things , etc. The food was good but my lunch companion complained she only had one small chicken leg in her dish with pomegranate sauce, which seems skimpy for 35chf- nice people but need to ramp up service and portions, value for money..
