Had a lovely dinner and experience at Anar. Our food was delicious, skewers of tender chicken and lamb, accompanied with light fluffy rice and delicious pickles. The service was very warm and polite, and honoured the 50% discount through our booking using The Fork. The restaurant is small and has a quiet and relaxed ambience with pretty embroidered table cloths. it was a lovely evening.

Anar serves exceptional Persian cuisine, highlighted by a standout Salade Olivieh and flavorful Kashke Bademjan. The main courses are equally impressive, maintaining high quality across the board. The saffron ice cream is a particular highlight and highly recommended for dessert. Service is both prompt and professional, contributing to an overall excellent dining experience. It was a lovely restaurant and just what we needed. Food was delicious and the people who worked there were very warm and polite. The decor could be slightly updated (I'd recommend leaning into the pomegranate theme and go deep colours) Lovely NYE meal and if I was local I'd be coming here often!

This is my second time at this restaurant, I had the same meal as the last time. But today,It was as if the fish we ordered today was divided into two and shared between us. I have never seen such cutlet before, 50% off on fork, does not mean one fish should be divided into two. I couldn't dare order the desert, I don't want to see another surprise.

The first server did not understand English or French. The second was very aggressive with us. The third guy - who was the one who brought out our dishes to us - was wonderful. Further, the menu they advertise on The Fork is not the menu that they offer a discount on. On their actual menu, they don't have a single vegetarian main dish.

We booked with the fork discount and checked before the menu here on the fork app. We saw that there are vegetarian options available but when we arrived they took it out of the menu to not have it discounted so we had to pay the normal price. The food was good though.

Anar is a lovely setting with very friendly staff and a great cuisine. I took the Iranian traditional dish with Bamiah, it was delicious! Although the service was slightly slow, the waiter was very keen to explain an apologise for any delays. This isa sign of professionalism. I will defintely return.
