What started as a good meal ended terribly with an awful dessert that left a bad taste in my mouth — literally and figuratively. The manager and waiter showed no interest in fixing it, which made the whole experience disappointing.

A sleek and modern interior to what appeared to be an old stone crypt, and it felt very attractive. The menu was an innovative take on Sicilian cuisine, and mostly very successful. But my sea bass carpaccio,, which was a special of the day, had been heavily oversalted, and when I mentioned that to a waiter when he cleared our plates he acknowledged it but said nothing more. The service generally was inattentive and we had to wait too long for menus and the wine list. It was overall an enjoyable evening and three of our dishes (and the carracente white wine) were excellent. But it could have been better.

Nice restaurant with good service. If you enjoy seafood in a beautiful environment you will have a nice time. It’s pricier than most restaurants in the area, but good.
