10/10This place was so awesome! Right on the Grand Canal! And the food was incredible. That is not something that you can say for a lot of places right on the water because they usually become tourist traps because all they need is the view and the food usually becomes secondary. Not here, our service was awesome and our food was delicious! Thanks for an awesome experience Ancora!

10/10Fantastic view of the canal. Perfect ambience on a Sunday evening. Waiter was excellent. Mushroom tagliatelle: sublime. A nice change from some of the shocking restaurants near the canal by rialto bridge. Good value too.

9/10A delightful place to eat. You are outdoors 50 steps away from the grand canal. The food is wonderful and the service is outstanding. Please do yourself a favor and dine here. The wine is superb and there are many to choose from. Grazie Ancora.

10/10An outstanding unpretentious restaurant with amazing service, character, and food quality. We enjoyed a three-hour meal drinking and dining along the waterfront, and had a truly memorable time. Our server (Davido?) treated us like we were his personal guests. Outstanding.

10/10This is a lovely family run business in a lovely location. I accidentally ordered the Venetian mixed appetizer with anchovies, sardines, cuttlefish, and 2 differently prepared cod fish. I decided to to try it, and loved all of it! The location is ideal and the pricing was more than fair. Both the daughter and father running the restaurant were kind and accommodating making us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend that you come and enjoy an experience like mine! I also got a discount by booking through The Fork app and I didn’t even realize it!

3.5/10Tourist scam using a fake menu. Prices in reality are way higher. The menu on the app has nothing to do with the menu presented in the restaurant. When I pointed that out they said the menu is seasonal, which doesn't explain why they don't update it in the app. Anyway, prepare for mediocre food in expensive price.

Our’s is a seasonal menu with fresh ingredients from the local market, so it changes continually according to The best offer. Regarding The price you’ve paid, it was in total Euro 14,40 for the cover charge and the tortelli, one of the most loved of our dishes, which is mentioned several times in the many (and most) of the good reviews we have. 10/10I made a reservation through the Fork. I mentioned we were celebrating my 14 yr olds birthday. The woman in charge and the waiter brought out an unexpected dessert with a lit candle at the end of our meal. It was a very appreciated touch as I had forgotten to bring any candles on our vacation. Turned out to be the only candle he got to blow out this year. The waiter was excellent and shared his recommendations as well as discussed which ingredients were sourced locally. The food was delicious. The setting was very lively and interesting with a good view of all the action on the Grand Canal. We ate at about 7:30pm in June and the area was shaded and very comfortable. We had our 8 and 14 yr olds with us and that was no problem for the setting or the staff. I highly recommend this restaurant. In fact, we got the best treatment here than we received at any restaurant throughout Spain, Italy or Germany.

Dear Jessica, we are sorry for the inconvenience, but, at times, there are circumstances that do not depend on us. That evening, you took a lot of time ordering and, in the meanwhile, being Saturday night, the restaurant got very busy and other clients, although coming after you, where quicker in ordering the meal and the orders moved ahead yours. Regarding the cold dishes, being all the antipasti you ordered caprese and carpaccio, we supposed you are referring to the second course Pappardelle with steamed prawns and fresh tomato sauce. Being a plate studied for summer, done with raw tomato and zucchini, is possible that, considering the chili evening, also this could have had influence on the temperature of the dish, and we are sorry for that. To make up to you, whenever you are back in Venice, we will be glad to invite you for dinner, on the house, where we could show you the quality of our food and our service, as proved by the big quantity of 10 we have on the reviews. 10/10This restaurant in a gem, food is excellent, staff is like family. Location is incredible along the canal not far from the Rialto Bridge. Quant restaurant with excellent outdoor seating and views. Menu is unique and the dishes were incredible. Our family of 6 all had something different off the menu and were beyond impressed with the flavors and freshness of the ingredients in our meals. Staff was beyond friendly and made our experience all the more enjoyable. This is a great restaurant for all!
