A little off the beaten track, this welcoming restaurant is in a quiet residential neighbourhood in El Campello. There is an attractive terrace at the front. The menu is relatively short and comprises Basque fish and meat specialties and was interesting. There is an excellent wine list from many regions of Spain with some great vintages by the glass (coravin). The dishes were all tasty and well presented. Particular stand outs were the starters, the steak with Roquefort sauce and the calamari a la plancha. Several Basque deserts were all enjoyed. The staff are charming and keen to help. It deserves to be busier. A good find!

We came here on a Friday night for a family dinner. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Good quality ingredients and well cooked. The Basque specialties are worth exploring.

Average all around. Wasn't all that impressed with any of the food we got, nor the service. Wouldn't return again if provided an opportunity. Lots of other local spots are just as good or better and for less money.

Excellent fresh seafood dishes, and wide variety of delicious starters. Raw oysters, roasted peppers with anchovies, flounder, sea bream, all top-notch. We appreciated the wine recommendations.

Disappointing restaurant with food of little taste. The owner is very friendly but overall service was not great. Great location though and nice atmosphere. Not worth the Michelin recommendation.
