So happy we found Andreas restaurant in Taormina. They were listed in The Fork Top 10 for Taormina. We picked it because of the quiet location which is only a 5 minute walk to the Bam Bar. We enjoyed everything they served. Starting with an Aperol Spritz, we quickly moved into the delicious gnocchi, burrata dish for an appetizer. Now we want to try more pasta so we chose the veal and pork cappelletti. The sauce was deep pomodoro and again delicious. We finished by sharing a beef fillet and the sea bass. Service was great. Bread was house made fresh. Extensive wine list. They brought is a sample of the bruschetta which was nice. They also brought us free shots of limoncello with a biscuit to cap it all off. Great menu, food, ambiance and service. Go early to get your choice of a table outside.

10/10Situated right opposite the entrance to a park, Andreas the chef and his staff have a beautiful restaurant with outside and inside seating. Tables are well-spaced out, so you have room and can talk without being deafened or jostled by other diners. The menu is extensive but not over-long and the food was delicious. The waiting staff were very attentive and even though our Italian is non-existent and their English was just OK, they did everything we asked and served us really well. We liked it so much that we cancelled a booking at another resturant and will be going back, just before our holiday ends!

10/10Elegant restaurant with extensive wine menu. We had the fish stew which had delicate broth, delicious. Our pasta was tasty but a bit too Al dente. The apple strudel was spot on (the chef is Austrian). They started the meal with a complimentary amous bouche and ended with complimentary limoncello and tastes of gelato. The service was top Notch.

+2When I saw the menu, I was excited to see the creative combination of ingredients. Each dish was so natural and beautiful when it arrived, it looked like a garden of vegetables on the plate. It was delicious to eat, the amount of salt was good, it brought out the flavor of the ingredients, and the sauce was sophisticated. The dessert, apfel strudel, was exquisite. The service was attentive and the chef was very friendly and we had a great time. it was fun.

10/10Lady who was taking care of our was very profffesional. For fork guests there was no possibility to choose dishes with truffle which were replaced by mashrooms ( paid additional 7€ for each dish - we were informed before order ). Food was very tasty , octopus the best I ever eat .

10/10We have been visiting Andreas restaurant every year since it was opened. Staff, food, wine, and ambience are second to none, on the next level, superb. Andreas, the chef and owner, speaks to his guests and makes you feel very special. Wonderful restaurant in all aspects. Our favourite venue for dinner in Taormina, can't wait to visit them again in 2025.

10/10We had the tasting menu and everything was sensational. Every element of every dish was delicious in its own right but together was superb. Some reviews suggested the service may not be great, not so, however, I find if you treat people nicely they treat you nicely! Definitely the best meal we’ve had for a while.

10/10A gem! Nice atmosphere, quiet and elegant like a small jewel. Food was best we had eaten in 5 days visit to Sicily. Wonderful saffron infused fish soup, pasta with pork and veal a nice break from regional seafood. Highly recommend. Thanks for great evening

5.5/10Higher priced menu not backed up by quality or creativity. Overall food was decent but not relative to price point. Service was lackluster and completely forgot to cook our main course. We sat drinking wine waiting for the main course and eventually someone asked if we were ready for dessert. When we mentioned they had not brought the main course, they offered no apology as the chef sat smoking a cigarette with other guests. Would not return. Go elsewhere is our advice.

9/10Our recent dinner at Andreas Restaurant was excellent. The chef prepares seafood, in particular, with great care and imagination. The small details of our meal were also well done - delicious bread! Highly recommend!
