Our waiter was so helpful and the food was incredible

It is one of our favorite restaurants in Florence when we are here for two months every year.

Normally we visit this restaurant everytime when we come to Florence. The main hall of the restaurant is very nice, the 2 separate small rooms just acceptable. We have made the reservation for 3 people, biut when we arrived only a table with 2 places was available. The men at the main counter was very unfriendly and gave us the table farest away even most of the table were not yet occupied. he denied to give us a table in the main room where we alwas have been sitting. The waiter was also unfriendly at the beginning, but when we ordered an not cheap wine it becomes better. The food was very traditionally and very good, but we do not know whether we will come back again

I come to Angiolino’s every time I’m in Florence. Ossobuco with mashed potato. Heaven

Review would have been excellent, but I do not like these restaurants in Italy. that do not have service included and do not post that information on the menu. I find it awkward and indiscreet when the waiter mentions it. Either I feel I'm being had or he or she is at a disadvantage. When you read the dos and don'ts about tipping in Italy your head starts spinning. If the custom of the country is to include service it should be universal. At the very least it should be printed and underscored on the menu and not when the bill arrives (as I don''t believe it's printed on that either.

First went to Angiolino a few year back and was thrilled to return. Everything was just as delicious as I remembered.

It has a lovely ambience, the waiters were charming and the food was delicious - we had spaghetti meat ragu and T bone steak and risotto and it was all Delicious - I can’t recommend it enough

Excellent experience (although they didn’t have our reservation through The Fork). Steak was amazing, wine was exceptional and our server was lovely.

Theatre of cooking! I visited on my own, had a table with a view into the kitchen. Great to watch experts at work. And then great to eat the results. Loved my Spaghetti Carbonara with artichokes, and then Osso Bucco. Only disappointment that I was on my own so the Florentine Steak (2 persons min.) was not an option! TBH that looked like it would feed a party of four…

I wish I could give them a 10 because the food was awesome. But the service! We had a reservation but once a party of 6 without a reservation came in, we were largely ignored. We were seated near a door and cigarette smoke poured in.

The owner/host didn’t bother greeting me and then pointed to my table until I told him I had a reservation in Italian (studied abroad in Florence so I can handle basic navigation) - waiter didn’t bother, handed me the english menu speaking in flat broken english—two other tables in my view were provided italian menus and bright greetings (the difference was they were white and I am not), one lady had to REQUEST the english menu. Wasn’t told the price of my small bottle of wine. There was a ‘coperto’ of 3€ - I asked directly if it was tip or not, waiter says “oh some restaurants are different usually cash” - really? My bill was close to €91 that’s on me for not requesting exact prices — I’m not upset about the price of the meal, the food was superb. The owner and waiting staff’s attitude and behavior? Appalling. I went at a recommendation from my beyond lovely airbnb hostess- shame on you! If even the food had been bad this would’ve been a 1/10 review.

Just a wonderful restaurant. My fourth time there and each time was perfect. Last year my BFF had the Florentine Steak, and even my vegetarian wife joined in and loved it; it was that good. Great old school atmosphere, highly recommended.

This restaurant is by far my favorite restaurant in Florence. I have been many times during my month stay in Florence. The food is authentic and the staff engaging ... its my top choice and I've been to a few. This one is a stand out! Bravi x

The ossobuco with saffron rice was unbelievable! Atmosphere and service was great. Would definitely recommend.

Never disappoints. I have been to this restaurant over the years and the food is always amazing!! Definitely need to try the Bistecca Fiorentina. But absolutely everything is good.

Everything. From the moment we met the Manager, Joe at the front door to the time we left was memorable. First the staff, amazing - welcoming, friendly, courteous and taking the time to go over the menu and make recommendations when asked. The food was buono!! My husband and I shared a caprese salad and the rigatoni which was cooked perfectly and had the most delicious sauce. For our secondi, my husband had the Veal Steak and I had the chicken. Both were delicious and came with spinach. Of course we had to have patate arrosto. We ended with dolce and caffe’. A 10 out of 10. I highly recommend.

of the 3 restaurants visited over the Easter weekend this was my favourite for the food and wine. if there was a criticism it was that service was a little too quick. overall an excellent experience. we'll be back on our next visit to Florence

During his trip to Florence, Italy, and we chose Angiolino ai 13 Arrosti based on recommendations from friends. Hands down, this was the best steak dinner we've ever had. The steaks are outrageously big and perfect for sharing. Prices were excellent, and the entire meal was terrific from start to finish. The service was also courteous, prompt, and genuinely welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Florence!

The food was mostly delicious, except for the overcooked and dry lombatina di vitello / veal steak. The service was incredibly slow and disorganized. On the positive side, the space is charming, and the other dishes were very good.
