9/10Great to have Anjappar in the Hague, for Rotterdammers like myself. Food was great -- loved the anchovy fries, chilly chicken was good though unfortunately not as (spicy) hot as I hoped, dosa was a bit disappointing as soft but it was because of the the one I ordered - my guest ordered ghee dosa which was crispy. Service is mixed - the lady owner is very friendly, responsive and quick, there is one server (tall, dark) who is outstanding and efficient, the person at the bar is at glacial pace and not really bothered if guests are seated fast or not. But from order to table, food comes fast and mostly with cheer and explanations.

5.5/10On a Friday night, with the streets of The Hague full of tourists crowding into the area’s restaurants and bars, it is unthinkable that at 10 p.m. you should have your plates cleared away. We were taken aback by the waiter’s attitude—he virtually threw us out. The lady was very kind and attentive, but the waiter was a disaster and his service dreadful. The food was fine

10/10The restaurant has a fantastic South India (Non Vegetarian) menu that is rare to find outside of India and with food that they make really well. I can't speak about the whole franchise but atkeathe one in the Hague is absolutely worth every Euro

7/10Everything is well meant in this restaurant but its really obvious that the staffs are not trained waiters. The service is chaotic and waiters dont have eye for detail. We had to ask for our drinks few times.Our mains were not at our table at the same time. The only plus thing I can add is that the food was tasty which kind like make up for the mess up with our order.

10/10They have special Biryani's on Sundays and Menu that's truly a south Indian foodies dream! Highly recommend for people trying a new version of Indian food, and I recommend taking an Indian friend along to help you with the menu ;)

6/10I, personally, did not enjoy the food. Everything we ordered, I found it to be uninspiring. Chettinad food is supposed to be lip smacking good. Unfortunately at Anjappar, I found the food experience to be an average and typical of most Indian restaurants in the Hague.

The food was really amazing. Great chettinad flavors and good portions. The taste was authentic and it reminded me of home. I tried the mutton meal which had a lot of small dishes in it and also Idli Ghee Podi which is my all time favorite and here it was served just the way I like it. Its a place for everyone to try . Besides the numerous south and Chettinad fare, they also have North Indian dishes and also Chinese menu which I believe could be the typical Indian-Chinese. I was on a work visit to DenHaag which was a short one, so couldn’t try much. I’m going there again for sure. A big thanks to the chef and the amazing people who run this place.

6/10I made a reservation through The Fork for dining on 29th May, which clearly offered a 30% discount at this restaurant. However, after my meal, I was charged the full price with no discount applied. Despite showing my confirmation from The Fork, the staff refused to honor the discount. Instead, they told me to come back another time and explain the situation in order to receive the 30% discount then—an unreasonable and inconvenient solution that only added to the poor experience. They claimed their billing machine couldn't process the discount, but I don't understand why the amount couldn't simply be adjusted manually at the time of payment. Forcing a customer to return just to claim a discount they were promised is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the service.

2/10Despite having a reservation, I am furious that I had to wait for over fifteen to twenty minutes at the Anjappar Den Hague. When I arrived, the manager told me to wait, and he kept me waiting for twenty minutes. I saw that people entering without reservations are being accommodated. Although I used to be rather impressed with the meal, I have since chosen not to go there again and will not recommend it to anyone.

5/10I recently visited Anjappar Den Haag with a friend to try the food. Overall, the food was tasty, but we were asked to leave after an hour, even though we were still enjoying our tea. The staff noticed we had finished eating and began staring at us, making us feel pressured to leave. One waiter even directly told us to go, which was frustrating. The experience left a bad impression, and despite the good food, I’m not sure I’d return. Another bad service restaurant, what a pity

10/10The food here is always tasty. The portions might not be as big as at some other South Indian restaurants in The Hague, but it's always great. So many dishes to choose from and every time I try something new, I'm impressed. Only thing to note is that the food can be quite spicy!

10/10We went here during Ramadan and the staff and service were excellent in bringing our food and drinks out of respect for the time we broke our fast. The food was delicious, great portions, and they checked in on us to make sure all was fine.
