7/10Dum Beriyani was overcooked and too soft—only 2 pieces of bones in the beriyani. Kesiri was oily. The side dishes in the mutton meal were not nice either ( cutlet hard)

9/10This was reccoemended by an Indian friend of mine :) The food was excellent, authentic south indian and the portions were decent. The staff were very nice but the service was a bit slow - but I think like all other restautarnats in Holland they are just busy and short staffed. Would 100% reccomend and will defitnitely be back again!!!

10/10Book this place in advance or you will have to wait or go to another place! Really good always crowded! Owners just need to add some sound absorption paddings as it gets mad noisy and unbearable with everyone chatting!

8.5/10The food was absolutely excellent, but like other patrons, I felt a little rushed. Our booking said we had 2 hours at the table, which suited us well because we had theatre tickets. One of our group was running a little late so we let them know that issue and ordered drinks, but then they came up several times in a very short period of time asking to take our orders. We ended up texting our late friend for their order and placed the orders within 15 minutes. Then, once our food came out, it was hard to attract the attention of the waiters to get fresh drinks or add items. I don't think they understand Dutch dining culture very well - people like to take their time over a meal and enjoy the company they're in. If we wanted fast food and to be in-and-out in a hurry we'd have gone to a fast food restaurant. When we're spending €50 each we expect to be able to take our time, and we still left in time for them to be able to turn the table over again. The food really was excellent though, fresh, unusual and tasty and very generous portions.

8.5/10Anjappar was by far one of the nicest Indian restaurants that I have eaten in the Netherlands. The food had the correct amount of spices, not very hot nor too bland. The desserts as well as the drinks were also amazing. I would definitely go there again to fulfil my Indian cravings.
