5.5/10We went based on reviews and were surprised to find it almost empty. Unfortunately we were disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t properly clean - the seat cushions were stained and the napkin holders dirty. This made me apprehensive about the cleanliness generally, but we stayed due to being short on time. The menus were also sticky and not clean when they arrived. We ordered our meals and were told the portion sizes would be large enough for us to share. We weren’t asked for our drinks order but two bottles of water were put on the table without explanation. We asked if they were included and were then told they were chargeable, which we didn’t like, so we asked for tap water and these were taken away. When the meals arrived we were very surprised that they were main courses as the portions were small, unlike what we were told. However, we had ordered a few different things so there was fortunately enough between us. The food itself was all hot and tasty. There was no atmosphere in the restaurant, it seemed more like a casual cafe. There was also barely any customer service, plates weren’t cleared away before we left etc. The toilets were just adequate but not ideal having the paper towels after having to open the door handle, and there were flies in the toilet. We wouldn’t return based on this experience and are disappointed as we thought it would be better.

7.5/10It's a nice, authentic south Indian restaurant. I once craved for proper south Indian food in Amsterdam. Now, its feels great to find such authentic restaurants here. Food quality is good. Service is good. Ambience is ok - finding a parking space was bit challenging.

6.5/10Nice dosa's and idli's. The air extraction system is very poor. My clothes were completely soaked in the restaurant smell of Indian herbs. This was disappointing since we had a concert planned afterwards. Ambiance is poor, service was good and prices are quite ok.

9/10We have been here couple of times and would luv to visit often. Must try schezwan hot & sour soup. Mini brunch plate is my favourite. Kothu parathas are the best here. Filter coffee at the end is superb. Also, affordable food considering the location in Amsterdam.

6.5/10Podi onion masala dosa was really good! However, the staff recommended us to have Saturday special meal, which was very bad in taste. Next disappointment was masala dosa. It was half cooked and the filling of dosa was boiled vegetables without any seasoning. Looking forward to visit again and have podi onion masala dosa

5/10Had heard good things about this place but we were disappointed. The ambiance was okay but feeding chairs for toddlers were dirty. When asked for a clean chair it was cleaned immediately but still looked unclean. Food wasn't upto the mark either, taste of dosa was okay but we did like the chutneys.

5/10The service was lazy and the food quite disappointing; we ordered several appetizers and main dishes with 5 people but everything was very salty and did not have a great taste overall. Will not come here again.

9/10The spicy rasam hit the spot. Unfortunately everything else after that was too bland. We ordered three other dishes and none came as spicy as the rasam even though we specifically asked for spicy.

8.5/10The food is amazing. I’m so happy that this restaurant serves authentic Indian food and that’s why it’s totally worth the 2hrs drive (return). The service is good, restaurant is small but doesn’t feel cramped up.

10/10I think this is the best retaurant I found in terms of food quality , service and price. Even the price is less the quqality is really good compare to other restaurant. It's pure vegeterian restaurant and also it has kidz menu which I never found in any other restaurant in NL. I give 10/10 to staff too. Really happy that I found best vegeterian kidz friendly restaurant

10/10Tasty and authentic Indian food. The restaurant is nice and the staff very friendly. It is also pretty cheap to be in Amsterdam. I would only suggest to add directly in the menu which dishes are actually vegan, or can be made vegan, as it is important to differentiate them from the vegetarian. The menu is pretty long and it is not practical asking to the waiter for every single dish.

10/10Apparently, in Amsterdam, are not informed about Internet bookings cia Google or Fork, so this leads to the restaurant having to turn customers away because there is no where to sit ! Food is excellent, delicious and appetising. Fi ger lacking good ????

6/10Bad customer service. We received one main dish more than the amount of people in our group. The owner insisted that we had ordered the dish and did not apologise. The only way out was to accept and pay for the extra dish.

9.5/10I wanted to introduce my friends to Indian cuisine and this was a very good introduction to them. The food was authentic and very similar to what I would have tasted in a restaurant in Chennai, India. Excellent food

4.5/10If you have staff shortage, then do not accept guest for all the tables. If your kitchen appliances are not functional get them repaired ASAP. Whats the point of having a restaurant?
