We had the most delicious food, which was fresh and hot. The hospitality was second to none!! Suman and Snehe made great recommendations and made sure we were well taken care of. It was by far the best meal we ate in Barcelona…..also a great value! Highly recommend

8.5/10The food was excellent, but unfortunately, the waiter was very pushy and tried to push the most expensive dishes, even discrediting the ones we chose. It wasn't nice, and his comments about there being some rice left on the plate were also inappropriate.

7.5/10Service was fine. Shared garlic prawns starter between two of us which were delicious. My wife had iberian pork which was very good. I had sirloin steak cooked medium which was tasty. It left blood on the plate which indicates it was not properly rested after cooking. The only let down in an otherwise very good meal.

The resto is located in one of the most of the popular spots in the Barcelone. Despite being surrounded by tourist traps, Antic Pitarra's prices are very reasonable for the central location. The service was attentive and friendly, in particular our server Suman who had great recommendations. We were a bit hesitant of places with large menus, but we were pleasantly surprised that every dish we ordered was great. We had the russian salad, fried calamar, garlic prawns, bread with aio li, cod with goat cheese and honey, and seafood paella. All dishes arrived hot and fresh, and perfectly timed. We appreciated the offer of limoncello at the end of the meal. We highly recommend Antic Pitarra for those in the area seeking hearty, classic Spanish cuisine.

9.5/10The waiters were great and the food really tasty. At 50% discount it's a good deal. We were lucky to be seated in the front room, the back eating room may feel a bit suffocating. Make sure you ask for a good table 😊 I'm a local and will definitely go back

Although it is located in one of the most touristy neighbourhoods of Barcelona, this place was pleasantly quiet and prices reasonable. The cod we ordered was fresh and well prepared, the cannelloni were tasty as well. Our server Parsa was nice, polite and friendly and we appreciated the complimentary shot at the end.

Great and authentic Spanish place with great ambience and food. A plus that you can order a paella for one and there is no minimum of 2 like many places. We got a fish paella and a vegetarian one which were both delicious. Also the sangria and starters were very good and price was more than adequate. Shoutout to Jorman who served us and was super available and nice.

The owner and the staff were very friendly (he even gave us a free shot), and he also speaks Italian. The food was delicious ,we had paella and a refreshing sangria. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

5/10Since the beginning the waiters made very clear that the portions were way smaller if the reservation was made with the offer from TheFork. We had to ask for some of the orders more than twice because they kept forgetting. Moreover, the restaurant has a complete nonsense ambience: they try to look like the typical old Catalan taverna and you just keep listening to loud cuban music all night, with dishes in the menu that are either Italian pasta or wok, with some local dish but of bad quality (the seafood was completely not worth it and no dish was worth the price, even in -50%). When we finished we waited 20 minutes for the bill after asking for it and only in the end paid in the bar because we went there. When paying, they didn't let us pay through the app. In summary, the quality is bad and the service and ambience are also deplorable.

A charming and cozy spot in the heart of Barcelona, where the service is exceptionally friendly and warm. The fish was beautifully prepared, so I think I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes.
