We visited Antic Tapas not once but twice during our vacation at Barcelona. The food was delicious and the service from Juan was excellent. Juan made good suggestions and explain the dishes. He made sure we had a great culinary experience.

4.5/10We ordered tapas, the octopus was terrible, I couldn’t eat a piece, and they agreed that it was terrible and excluded it from the bill. Rest of the food was so average, so I am not sure how this place get in top ratet with the fork, but for now it is my worst experience with the fork app.

Our experience at Antic Tapas Balmes was absolutely outstanding! The food was truly great and utterly delicious. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. However, what truly elevated our visit was the brilliant service, especially from the manager, Juan. He was an absolute star! Juan's recommendations were spot on – he guided us to some of the best food we've tasted in Barcelona, introducing us to incredible flavors and local specialties. What made it even more special was Juan's genuine enthusiasm and care. He took the time to show us the proper way to eat certain dishes, and his explanations of what the dishes were and their ingredients were so informative and engaging. We were really delighted with the service we received. Juan's passion for the food and his dedication to ensuring we had a wonderful experience truly shone through. We left with fantastic memories and even lots of great photos of us enjoying the amazing food. We highly recommend Antic Tapas.
