10/10This is our favorite place to eat in Venice. The fritto misto is always superb! The baccala mantecata appetizer is delicious. There is always a new special that delights. Gracious staff, fabulous wines, on a quiet, Venetian Calle. Who could ask for more? I will post photos when we return on Thursday.

10/10Great restaurant right around the corner from our hotel in Venice. Lovely Al fresco dining or a charming interior dining room. Knowledgeable and friendly staff - food product quality was excellent and prepared superbly. Great wine list both bottle and by the glass. Nice mix of locals and tourists. Not sure why some reviews noted small portions - we started with roasted asparagus and then shared the Risotto and Amberjack - it was plenty for two!

10/10A perfect dining experience. The service was warm, friendly and helpful. The wine and food was excellent with a balanced menu amd excellent dessert options. So good I, booked to visit again in a few days.

10/10Giacomo is indeed one of the most young chef in Italy. Def a one to watch for the next star. We keep coming back for daily surprises. And service was impeccable, so was the bill, perfect balance quality and price! well done guys

10/10This is our third visit this week. When we are in the states, we dream about Antica Besseta! We love the ambience and the perfectly prepared food. Their “fritto misto” is top notch! That, and the pasta with vongole are delectable. We loved their stuffed clamarone, and a baccala dish soys vide with cipollini as well. Staff is wonderful. In the spring, it is dreamy to eat outside in that quiet little calle.❤️

10/10Excellent food & service, delightful classy atmosphere, as good as I had experienced a few years ago. Unfortunately , Covid pandemic means the restaurant is nearly empty, at least on weekdays. Go and encourage this great team so we may keep enjoying this classic restaurant for years to come.

2/10You took a booking for me for a Tuesday night. When we managed to find the place it was shut. It is shut on a Tuesday. It was my birthday dinner. Unforgivable.

4/10We were the only ones in the restaurant upon arrival and it still took about 15 minutes to get our drink orders taken. The chef recommended the Venetian Fried Seafood plate saying it was delcious and a venetian classic. Both that and the spaghetti with clams came incredibly salty to thepoint that neither of us could finish the meal. To top it all off, a 4 euro cover charge per person. i definitely would not recommend this restaurant to thise visiting venice

6/10The setting in the courtyard of this restaurant was nice and the service was friendly. The problem was the dish we both ordered was not at all like the description. It was described as pasta with shrimp, crab and cherry tomatoes. What arrived was three whole shrimp with heads on and very little meat, no visible crab and no cherry tomatoes. When I told the waiter, he brought out a small dish of sauce with a few bits of crab and no tomatoes. Certainly not enough to add to our plates. One waiter said "the chef must have been asleep". Just another disappointing meal in Venice for a high price.

7.5/10Nice restaurant in a small alley! Waiter arrogant and uninterested. Food nice! Primi all good, nice filetto di manzo and light bream. Great wine. Atmosphere good.
