9.5/10very friendly family owned restaurant, very delicious with the exception of the watery lemon chicken, but other than that it was amazing and we actually came back here when other restaurants disappointed. good location in a decently lively piazza.

10/10We truly enjoyed our experience at this family restaurant so much that we decided to return for dinner the very next evening. The fresh seafood was simply outstanding, and it brought such joy to our meal. As for dessert, we couldn't resist indulging in Capri's cake; it was so delightful that we ordered four cakes for just the three of us. It felt like a sweet celebration, and sharing those moments together made it all the more special.

6/10The restaurant was in a quite piazza, with several others. The food is okay and service is average. Exiting the piazza is the cathedral of Amalfi, with a meters access to the beach.

10/10This family owned and operated restaurant was a great find and only a few steps off the main tourist centre in a small square (Puazza dei Dogi). The service was excellent and always with a smile and our food was delivered in good time and was very tasty. My Pasta Siciliana was cooked to perfection, a good portion and highly flavoursome. I felt the meal for my wife and I was good value at €65 which included Bruscheta, a Buffalo Mozzarella salad for entrees and a Minestrone soup and Pasta for mains with a glass of Prosecco, a lemon juice, and bottle of still water. Definitely recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone travelling to Amalfi.

+2our host! a family run establishment. they may have been a bit busy as we did have to wait to order and receive food while others were taken care of quickly, but food and ambience was very good to make up for it.

7/10Thé staff is what made our experience enjoyable. They were friendly and attentive. Some members of our party had fish or chicken and they were very pleased. However, I would not recommend any dishes with grilled octopus. Octopus is tricky and I usually only order it in trusted restaurants back home. Given that this is Amalfi,I thought it would be a sure bet. It is not. The dish was tough and chewy. Unfortunately the seafood salad, when served, was mostly made up of octopus followed by a main dish of grilled octopus. Disappointing at best. Given how expensive te restaurants in Amalfi are, I am sharing my experience. Go to the restaurant. Enjoy the location. Eat the food… just not the octopus.

Excellent family run mainly fish restaurant tucked away just off the busy main square. Great atmosphere and a found via trip advisor ratings. Food quality excellent, time waiting for main course a bit longer than we would have liked but that soon appeared to the Italian way. Reasonable value for money and thoroughly recommended.

2.5/10It was recommended so it pains me to give an unpleasant review. It’s strange that no pizzas were served for dinner so we opted for carbonara. I had this several times in the past so I could make a judgement, the noodles weren’t cooked enough and was saucy. The bread inside a paper bag was stale. The service was a time killer and I had to ask for the bill several time 4x to be exact.

I would really recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and presented at the high level (the Michelin style). I have tried many restaurants in the town and this one is really my favourite which never disappointed. The waitresses are very friendly. The food is always fresh and prepared with creativity.

9.5/10You have many places in Amalfi with high prices and modest quality in the plate. Not Antica Trattoria Barracca: we found great food, reasonably priced, and plenty of courtesy by the host and the waiters. If ever in Amalfi again, we'll for sure be back. Grazie.

8/10It was a nice meal and decent service. They are very busy and I’m sure they try their best but it felt a little disorganized. They couldn’t keep track of who was seated first so we were served after a few who came after we’d arrived and it felt like we had to get their attention most of the time. They seem very nice and I’m glad business is good for them but they need more people working. The food was ok, stick with the pasta.
