5.5/10The service was prompt and the waiter was obliging and friendly. The starter was not a good brushettea, I have eaten better in London and the pasta was too dry, the waiter did not make any recommendations. There was no ravioli on the menu which there should be as it is a Naples restaurant.

2/10I was looking forward to a nice evening. Unfortunately the restaurant forgot about our reservation and hastily prepared a table and they gave us a table right next to the toilets. Everything was confused and rushed. I didn't feel welcome!!! I wanted to have a drink in peace and then eat, but halfway through the drink I already had food on the table. The food was cold!!! The waiter himself states that the food was good and leaves with the dishes and there is no way to express dissatisfaction!!! I was also looking forward to steak, cheese cake and coffee, but I don't want anyone to pressure me, I want to eat in peace. We had to move elsewhere for the rest of the evening. The food and drinks are average. We travel around Italy and I am used to comfort and good food. I didn't find either here. I will definitely not come back here!!!

8/10Great food, cute vibe, but the staff were VERY keen to rush us through our meal, presumably as they wanted to give it to another party of four. Worth it for the taste, but don’t expect to enjoy a leisurely meal!

9.5/10The Penne allo Scarpariello was about as good a pasta dish as I have ever had. The house red wine is good and pairs very well. The staff is very friendly and have a sense of humor. Overall, we were very impressed.

Great food, but service was a bit confused. We ask to change the tables because one of the chairs was very close to the street, took a while to have the issue sorted. Dishes came separately, not ideal when you have to wait to start eating and your food is getting cold. Overall, still really good, specially in terms of location and price.

10/10Lovely little Restaurant with a professional, friendly, & courteous staff. The Spaghetti alla Carbonara was the best my wife and I ever ate! The Salsiccia al ragù Napoletano was a great accompaniment and tasted fantastic. We will be back. There’s so much more to try. I’ll be dreaming.

My family of 6, aged 14 to 77, had a wonderful Italian dining experience at Antica Trattoria del Nilo. The food was excellent, plentiful, and reasonably priced. The service was great and we were taken care of. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

4.5/10Very mediocre tourist trap. The kind of food you make to your kids when you don't have the time. We ordered Carbonara, which made my stomach ache for the rest of the day. The Ragu sauce can be barely called a Ragu. It's tomato paste with barely any meat. Avoid at all cost. If you can get out of Porto and find somewhere else to eat, please do that.
