10/10Local food cooked perfectly. Very warm and friendly staff who seemed to really want us there and who also speak excellent English. Beautiful and comfortable room to eat in. Totally recommended.

8/10Great service. Great prices. Nice people. Food was very good, especially for the price. The salad, oil & vinegar wasn't that tasty. Didn't understand beans on the bruschetta, sorry! It seemed warm inside and we hoped they'd keep the door open for fresh air. Also we felt lacking was some peaceful Italian music in the background. That would've made for a more lovely ambience. And we're very sorry but what was meant to be a special celebratory birthday dinner (that we had been looking forward to for months) was allowing a family of 4 in, w/o a reservation, to dine with an infant and a toddler. It sounded like kindergarten class inside. We were happy our food came out super fast, we skipped dessert and left. :-/

10/10The food and service was very good. Service was very friendly and not too fast. The portions were very generous as well. Lovely place to dine and the outside table on a warm evening was very pleasant.

10/10Wonderful restaurant in picturesque Tuscan town. Great food (pasta and steaks) and service. We have visited restaurant with our 3 adult kids and had amazing time. We had pleasure to chat to Luigi whose family has owned the restaurant for 3 generations. Such a nice man. It was a great night and we highly recommend the restaurant.

10/10Tables are set in a beautiful medieval steet, you cannot beat that ambiance with any indoor space. The service was excellent, it appears to be family owned and operated, 3 generations were there, hosting, serving, and cooking. They are all English speakers, which was certainly a nice bonus. Menu in Italian, English, and German. I ordered the noodles with mushroom sauce(porcini I think), which may be one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had, it does have mushrooms in it as well. The second was a simple roasted veal, and a mixed salad. The veal was also the best I have ever tasted, exquisite is the only word that cones to mind. My son had ravioli with ricotta and spinach, he commented that it was the best he has had after over a month living in the Tuscan region of Italy. His second was a roasted chicken with rabbit and roasted potatoes, which he also said was excellent. Even though we are travelling away from this area, we may go here again. Absolutely loved it.

10/10If you’re in the area, eat here first. You may not want to eat anywhere else. Everything was excellent, especially Luigi and his family. This is a family business and it makes a difference. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The duck ragu (primi) is to die for, Luigi’s recommendation for wine was excellent and reasonably priced, We had a full meal for 50 Euros apiece, including the wine. Portions were ample and everything was delicious. Our main was beef stew (different from American) but you will have other choices in the daily menu, so likely something different. Just ask Luigi, he’ll steer you in the right direction.

10/10We went with the whole family and it was a grate meal fire everybody! The kids loved the pasta and the ice cream, and the adults loved everything! The tagelittlla duck was the best pasta I’ve ever eaten!

7/10This restaurant is popular with the locals and has great ambience. We expected better quality food and wine because of the Michelin recommendation. My roast chicken had one perfectly suucculent piece and a totally dried out one. The chicken parmesan was swimming in cheese and oil. The other diners at our table rated the food good, not fantastic. The roast potatoes were delicious. The wine recommendation was disappointing. The service was friendly, and we appreciated this. Servings were generous. I would say this restaurant provides a good, hearty meal for decent value.

10/10La Topps was a great dining experience. The food was great and the ambience was perfect. The only problem we had was finding the ristorante. The GPS got us to the neighborhood but actually finding be the ristorante was a challenge but well worth the time. If you've never been there and your GPS says it's a 15 minute drive give yourself a lot more time because you're going to need it. There is not a lot of signage to get you to the place
