Fantastic experience! The food was delicious and authentic — the Fiorentina steak was absolutely superb! 🥩🇮🇹 Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and great service. Highly recommended

10/10Our family very much enjoyed dinner at Antico Fattore at the recommendation of our daughter's colleagues. The history and ambiance are rich. The food was delicious and we all particularly liked sharing our first steak florentine. The servers were very nice.

My family and I really enjoyed this iconic restaurant! The service was impeccable and our server was ready to answer our questions and provide wine suggestions. Other members of the staff made us feel at home and welcomed to the restaurant. The food was fantastic across the board, and we all enjoyed the Florentine Steak.

10/10Back to Florence and of course to Antico Fattore, our traditional spot for dining with an excellent bistecca alla fiorentina. Everything was as it always was: authentic setting, pleasant atmosphere, friendly and competent service, and delicious food. With a bottle of good wine, heaven again...

8/10Wine prices very reasonable. Purchased a bottle instead of a glass. Appetizers were very good, huge portions. Entrees were good although the filet mignon was a bit on the chewy side. All in all all will return.

10/10I couldn’t wait to come back to Florence to eat at this restaurant again, and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Great service, the fried zucchini flowers are so unbelievable… the veal just melts in your mouth… definitely put this on your list.

9/10I was visiting Florence for the day and made a reservation for lunch weeks in advance on recommendation from a friend. Good thing I did because when I found it on a back street near the Ufizzi, there was a very long queue and it’s a relatively small restaurant. I arrived 20 minutes early, checked in and was seated right at my rez time. The restaurant is known for their giant porterhouse like steaks to share and I didn’t want that as a single diner so I chose just one pasta dish. It was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent even though I was a single diner with a small bill that could be ignored in other places but the waiter didn’t do that. I even saw when another group arrived with luggage in the small space, they locked it up in storage in the bathroom. very convenient and efficient. Everyone in the queue was seated while I was there. Highly recommend!!! Just make sure you reserve in advance

10/10We celebrated New Year's Eve here and it was fabulous! The service was impeccable and personable. The food was stunning! We actually saw this place earlier in our stay and it was on a quiet street close to the Uffizi but out of the tourist stream. Plus, the memorial close to the restaurant was very moving. Then in our search for a NYE place, this had a special dinner at a good price. It was amazing. We will come back to Firenze and go to this restaurant every time we are here. It was that good.

2/10Antico Fattore was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve had. From the start, the front desk staff greeted us with indifference, and we were seated in a tourist-heavy room that set a lackluster tone. The bread was dry and tasteless, and the polenta with mushrooms was overcooked and bland, made worse by soggy canned mushrooms. Service was inattentive, with multiple delays, including when I had to ask several times for salt and pepper. The main courses only added to the frustration. My vegetarian tortelli was swapped for a meat dish, which was inedible for me, while my partner’s steak was underseasoned, undercooked, and poorly trimmed. Service remained dismissive, and when I pointed out the mistake, I was met with rude resistance. At nearly €80, the meal was far from worth it, making this the worst dining experience of our four-week trip through Europe. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

8.5/10The setting is great. It’s definitely become a bit tourist destination with a hurried service approach. Food overall was good, not great but the contorni were excellent.
