10/10I couldn’t wait to come back to Florence to eat at this restaurant again, and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Great service, the fried zucchini flowers are so unbelievable… the veal just melts in your mouth… definitely put this on your list.

9/10I was visiting Florence for the day and made a reservation for lunch weeks in advance on recommendation from a friend. Good thing I did because when I found it on a back street near the Ufizzi, there was a very long queue and it’s a relatively small restaurant. I arrived 20 minutes early, checked in and was seated right at my rez time. The restaurant is known for their giant porterhouse like steaks to share and I didn’t want that as a single diner so I chose just one pasta dish. It was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent even though I was a single diner with a small bill that could be ignored in other places but the waiter didn’t do that. I even saw when another group arrived with luggage in the small space, they locked it up in storage in the bathroom. very convenient and efficient. Everyone in the queue was seated while I was there. Highly recommend!!! Just make sure you reserve in advance

10/10We celebrated New Year's Eve here and it was fabulous! The service was impeccable and personable. The food was stunning! We actually saw this place earlier in our stay and it was on a quiet street close to the Uffizi but out of the tourist stream. Plus, the memorial close to the restaurant was very moving. Then in our search for a NYE place, this had a special dinner at a good price. It was amazing. We will come back to Firenze and go to this restaurant every time we are here. It was that good.

2/10Antico Fattore was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve had. From the start, the front desk staff greeted us with indifference, and we were seated in a tourist-heavy room that set a lackluster tone. The bread was dry and tasteless, and the polenta with mushrooms was overcooked and bland, made worse by soggy canned mushrooms. Service was inattentive, with multiple delays, including when I had to ask several times for salt and pepper. The main courses only added to the frustration. My vegetarian tortelli was swapped for a meat dish, which was inedible for me, while my partner’s steak was underseasoned, undercooked, and poorly trimmed. Service remained dismissive, and when I pointed out the mistake, I was met with rude resistance. At nearly €80, the meal was far from worth it, making this the worst dining experience of our four-week trip through Europe. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

+2It wouldn't be a visit to Firenze without a bite of Bisteca Fiorentina. I had a difficult time finding a suitable restaurant until a few locals mentioned Fattore on the outskirts of the Uffizi. I found it quaint, charming, the fare excellent, and the aged beef beautiful. My first reassuring sign was that all the other diners at lunch were Italian. The staff was very helpful, and let us dine at the casual pace all the locals enjoyed lunchtime. We started with the funghi crostini which was out of this woeld. My mother opted for the pasta fagiole although the ribolleta looked much better, while my father's cianghcianghiale ragu beat out my standard one on flavor and uniqueness. Of course get the bisteca, but also ask for the fried artichoke...you can't miss. Great food!

10/10The staff was enchanting, the emphasis on authentic Florentine food and flavors was exquisite, the pairing of the food and the wine was superb. The food was served perfectly, and it goes without saying that it was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant !

5/10We were seated right away for our reserved time. A good start. Waiter brought sparkling water instead of still. Dining partner did not get the soup which was ordered. Food was ok - nothing special. Dining room is too bright - not fine dining ambience - could be much nicer with dimmed lighting. Sorry I can’t be positive.

9.5/10Excellent, tasty food. Hreat service in a relaxed dining room. We had beef carpacia and Tuscan cold cuts to start folleed by Meatballs andTorteli pasta with truffle sauce and a bottle of mineral water the total bill was €100. Loved it.. With a good bottle of Chianti

10/10Gracie Mille for a wonderful dining experience! The service, food, location and ambience were all wonderful. We appreciated the AIC certification as one of our family has Celiac’s and was able to enjoy the best meal he ever had. We loved ordering a first course of pasta and then sharing a couple of the florentine steaks.

7.5/10We had wanted to try this restaurant that has such a wonderful history. The food was very good, as was the service. The restaurant itself is small, and the tables were very close to one another, which made it not particularly comfortable. Although we were not actually rushed, it felt like the restaurant pushed to turn over tables as quickly as possible. We realize this is a highly publicized restaurant, but we felt we were being moved through the dining experience as quickly as possible, which definitely detracted from the evening’s dining.
