10/10A warm welcome from Juri and Loris, followed by first class, attentive service, delicious local Italian food and a fantastic wine selection. We look forward to returning on our next visit to Venice.

10/10What a wonderful restaurant! Delicious food, both fish and meat. Wait staff was very friendly and proud to share their history dating back to the mid 1200’s. Would definitely return!

10/10I guess everything is in perspective. We had some trepidation about dining at this restaurant because of some negative reviews. Those concerns were quickly allayed. The service could not have been more pleasant and attentive. The food was excellent in quality and taste. The wine selected was very fine. We enjoyed are dinner here immensely. In regards to the price, which was at the core of most of the criticisms, we found it most reasonable considering the product. It compares very favorably to the prices at comparable restaurants in the USA. Thus the consideration of perspective. Excellent food and excellent service at a fair price. Happy to highly recommend this restaurant.

10/10This was a fantastic restaurant recommended by a local. While hard to find, it is definitely worth the trip. Manager Yuri is warm and welcoming and we had the best time maginable while also savoring some absolutely marvelous food and drink. This place is a gem and you are really missing out if you don’t try it.

10/10We have been to Antico Pignola every time we came to Venice, so this is not new News. The food is excellent, the service is very good as well, the value is high. We like the atmosphere, and where there are locals eating, I believe the food cannot be bad. As you enter, it looks small, but it opens up as you move deeper into the restaurant. There is an open air section outdoors for warm weather, and several different rooms - it is not just one large space, but several cozy quiet and comforatble spaces. We still love this restaurant and it has consistently been one of our favorites in Venice. I suggest you make a reservation so that you will know you can get a seat. Cheers, and enjoy.
