6.5/10They accepted at 21:00 hrs a couple with two screaming babies who made dining impossible. It is inadmissible for such a restaurant to be so indifferent for the quality of ambience just in order to make some money from unacceptable guests.

10/10Very fast service at this traditional restaurant， great wine selection and even house wines are great too. Food quality is amongst the best versus the value in Milan. Fresh, high quality ingredient in-combination with fast and warm service. Highly recommend.

7/10We had high expectations for our dinner at Antica Ristorante Boecc, sadly too high. While the staff and ambiance were as expected, the main dishes were simply poorly prepared. Our pasta selection of pappardelle with peas and asparagus and the seafood spaghetti were well prepared and quite delicious. But both of the main courses of John Dory with artichokes or veal Milanese were simply awful. The fish had a texture of dryness that suggested it had been frozen and reheated. The veal was pounded so thin the corn meal breading was all one tasted. The texture was like eating cardboard. To cleanse our palates we shared a lemon mint sorbet which tasted more like a granita but was enjoyable. For a restaurant that boasts a 324 history to continue its traditions, the chef needs to get his act together.

10/10We were welcomed warmly upon arrival and the meal was one of the best of our trip! I had the Ossobuco alla Milanese and it was superb! The restaurant was recommended by a relative and we will certainly be back!

8/10Service and atmosphere was outstanding. I was very well catered to by staff and the ambience was very nice. However when it came to the food, it started off strong with the baby octopus which was delicious. my second course, a pasta dish less so, as the pasta was stuck together from the starches in the pot and was a bit undercooked for my taste. My main course was by far the worst, which was a veal chop ‘Milanese style’. It was an absurdly thin chop of veal which was fried and covered in bread crumbs. Immensely disappointing. A taste that can only be described as eating thin bread fried with dried bread, no flavor whatsoever and very dry. I had eaten three pieces before I decided not to even eat the rest. The main course was 32€ for which I could have enjoyed three buckets of chicken from KFC. I had high expectations coming in as this was also meant to be my birthday dinner and unfortunately it did not meet my expectations.

10/10Where do i even start? One of the Best dining experiences we've had. First, the staff. The level of professionalism, hospitality, hosting and service was impeccable. Second, the food. We ordered baby octopus in tomato sauce, curry shrimp, pistachio tuna as savory and each one of them was cooked to perfection. And as an autistic person, that says a lot. The favors, textures, temperature, cook time were all 100% perfect. Lastly, we order apple tart and tiramisu with a twist, requested to add candles for the birthday. The tiramisu was amazing, but the apple tart was nothing short of divine. I have to again go back to the staff, because when i handed them the candles they just replied "understood" and later came in with 1 holding the desserts and the other walking in front to hide it and surprise her. It was genuinely so warm and welcoming. If we come to Milan again, we are 100% coming here again. THANK YOU!

10/10Unusual preparations besides standard favorites. The scallop appetizer was outstanding, and the spaghetti a la chitarra with shrimp and pistachios was also excellent. The lamb cutlet with fried artichokes was a very generous portion and tasty, but I neglected to ask for fresh lemon, because it was rather dry. The gelato was sinfully delightful. The Bonarda wine was excellent, especially for the price. And while one of my two guests did eat rather modestly, the total price for three with wine was a great value for the money. Service was friendly and knowledgeable.

10/10This was a fantastic experience. You are in a restaurant from 1696. Its historical. The service is incredible. The food was high quality and generous. For me it was perfect.

3.5/10The pompous staff failed to make our party feel welcome. The food was pretty ordinary and unimaginative, When we wanted to select an additional starter, it wasn’t available, although it was listed on the menu. A simple request for a fresh mint tea was also rejected. Although there seemed to be far too many waiers in a restaurant that prides itself on its service, nobody re-filled our glasses with water (one would expect this in a restaurant of this class and price-range). The wine was nice, but no explanation was given about it, no sommelier bothered to attend to us, and it was served with condescension. The atmosphere was dead, The whole experience felt like something fished out of an old dusty wardrobe of a deceased relative. We were looking for something classical, old-fashioned and quintessentially Milanese, and found something pretentious, overpriced and dated.

10/10The Restaurant is amazing. You can feel it the moment one enters the door. Professionalism is the best word to describe the place. The food is great; the atmosphere lovely, and the waiters are very polite with the right sense of humor. It's a bit expensive, but the experience is worth it.
