The staff in the beginning wasn't aware that TheFork even exists. Also unwelcoming and with limited hospitality. However, the food was outstanding an great quality for the price. 11€ for a great original Carbonara is is extraordinary für that touristy area. 20% Discount and payment with TheFork pay worked out only after discussions with the staff and cashing in the boss. Menu in the app is outdated, the cheapest bottle of wine is 28€ and not 8€.

The food here is tasty, well prepared and well presented. The problem is that wait staff really have no joy or pride in what they do. They treat everyone like a stupid tourist. And no one wants to be a stupid tourist. I ordered a bottle of wine from a place we visited in the Chianti on a previous trip. The price was steep for an Italian menu, as normally they don’t mark up wine as much as here. The waiter came out with a different bottle. When I protested I got. ‘Its all the same madame’. Well its not. He just could not be bothered to look for it, and the bottle he brought out was a much cheaper bottle. When I made a fuss, (and I hate having to make a fuss especially to get what I ordered) another much friendlier waiter brought it out. I guess it all ended ok, the new waiter found great joy in checking with ‘madame’ if everything thereafter was to my expectation, which felt rather embarrassing and over the top. Long story short..up to you, but I wouldn’t go back. If you find clients interested in good wine and food stupid or too high maintenance, then maybe its time to get a job outside the restaurant business!

Food wasn’t very good. Sub average given the quality of food in Rome. But what stood out was the piss poor service. Had to wait more than half hour for the food. And top to things off they forgot to include the 20 percent meal discount that came with my booking on the Fork. In the 10 places we dined that using this app. This was the only place we had to remind them after checking the bill

Great and professional staff, original Italian cuisine (tried the mezze maniche caccio e pepe, basic dish that proved their quality). Good to try it out if you want a quiet and pleasant meal.
