The restaurant is so stunningly beautiful. Service was top notch and the food was a 10. We enjoyed the prepared filet and the lobster pasta. Our favorite place in Italy so far.

4.5/10Bad service, differential treatment for Asians. Food was average at best. Better to head to the many trattorias nearby, whose service is better, and food tastier and cheaper.

10/10The extremely professional servers Team, Amar and his colleagues. The food: be hungry, it’s superb! The environment, the history. Even fascinating books to read. Have been back twice in 3 days.

6/10One meal did not arrive for a long time after all the others. Must finished before one diner received their meal. No special order so not acceptable for a restaurant with this history. Much better previous visit, but 3 years ago.

10/10We have enjoyed dining at this restaurant for the last ten years. The service is excellent and the food is sublime. We have introduced many friends to this Tuscan gem over the years and this year was no exception. Our friends were thrilled and shared that over their many years of visits to Florence, this was their best culinary experience. Keep up the good work…can’t wait til next year!

5.5/10Restaurant was well place and nice. Food was just so-so and not hot. Had to pay at the register, and the hostess asked if I wanted to leave a tip. There is no tipping in Italy. That’s a scam.

2.5/10It was a sales pitch the minute we sat down. Pushing the expensive steak and truffles. And the minute we ordered our bottle of wine they said we're not sure if we have that wine but we have a different one (which of course costs more). They also charge 9 euros to sit down (cover charge).

The atmosphere inside the restaurant, with the painted frescoes and comfortable tables, were the first features we enjoyed seeing. The servers are patient and provided quality recommendations from the menu - the beef with truffles and pate was a standout dish. At the end of the meal, a small gift was included when we paid the cheque. I ate here in February as well for a work dinner, and the food has been reliably excellent.

10/10The historical setting is so unique to start. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. There was the option for hot stone serving of the steaks to aide different meat temperature desires for shareable sizes too. Very memorable restaurant.

I had to pour my wine for myself through out the whole dinner, but I noticed the server served wine properly to the guests of the next table. I really wanted to ask why.

10/10Antica Ristorante Paoli is a historic landmark. It’s the oldest ristorante in Firenze. It’s beautifully appointed with fresco’s, a coat of arms tile for each commune in Toscana and traditional tuscan cuisine. Definitely worth making a reservation,
