Wonderful food, the ceviche and pork were particularly tasty, as was the brioche with mushroom. There was also a great selection of wines and it’s a perfect spot for people / tram watching.

My go to spot

The wine was not the best compared to the other wine bars in the neighborhood. The music was good.

Antiga Wine Bar is a small place where the emphasis is on the wine, with a nice & warm service. It clearly targets tourists, and many indeed come to the place after walking on the hills of Lisbon for a whole day. I think the concept is fine and, in some ways, it may even serve its purpose. This said, the place is very small so the (warm) food you will be served is re-heated and not very nice. And the wine - which is the central product in a wine bar - has an offer that leaves much to be desired. In a country where quality wine is ubiquitous, the choice is pretty poor and the price for a single glasss is way too expensive. In this sense, the place offers a diservice to all tourists who try wines there. What a pity.

We loved the food at the Antiga Wine Bar. We wanted to eat a late lunch / early dinner before a Fado concert down the street. We had not heard anything about the restaurant before we came there and were pleasantly surprised at how extremely delicious our dinners were. We shared two main courses and savored every bite. Kudos!

Small plates that are unique and very tasty. Very nice food experience. Lots of wonderful wines to pair with your food. Would highly recommend. Must make reservations as it is a tiny little place.

Tiny wine bar on a busy street, easily looked over. Small but excellent menu. Large wine selection. Nice low key atmosphere.

Great little wine & petisco spot, serving memorable dishes (try the seabass ceviche...a masterpiece of surprising yet complimentary flavors) and informed wine suggestions. Book a reservation because space is limited: We saw lots of people without reservations turned away. Fun evening!

This was our last night in Lisbon. Food and ambience were great. Everything about the visit was lovely, especially the service from our server. Her care in assisting us with food and wine descriptions made it a wonderful experience.

Place is pleasant but a bit cramped and today it was hot and damp.A couple of ceiling fans would help.Food and wine was good and well served.Filtered water was available but only without gas.Sparkling water was only served in 25 cc bottles ;not practical for a group of 8..

The food just wasn’t the best. Definitely on the greasy side. None of us liked the codfish croquettes. The corn purée was too sweet for the scallops. The coconut flan like dessert was super sweet also. The pork brioche toast was good and the duck was decent. The service was very good.

Gorgeous little gem of a wine bar tucked into a cute little street between Baxia and Alfama. This was the perfect way to enjoy a quick stop in Lisbon, with delicious tapas and a plethora of local wines to discover. Not to mention the staff were fantastic! Our sever could not have been more helpful, friendly, and hospitable; encouraging us to taste several different wines to find something that we loved. The food was interesting, inspired and most importantly of all, yummy! A great taste of Lisbon to keep you wanting more. Thank you!

This was our second visit in just two days. The food and service were excellent, but not consistent with our first visit. For example, a wonderful scallop dish had 3 scallops the first time, just two this time. The clams that had been full of garlic were very bland. The mushroom dish was not hot. The ceviche was not as spiced. Still a good meal, but not as great at the first night there. You should also be aware that it is a common practice in Lisbon to be informed that you have your table for 2 hours and 2 hours only. We arrived a little late due to a huge traffic problem in the city, so we did feel a bit rushed getting through our dinners.

The food was amazing. It is called Antiga Wine Bar-I expected a larger wine list. It was small but effective.

The tapas was wonderful… loved it

Initially I thought the option of sharing plates, brought out at the time the chef prepared them, rather than as a coherent meal, was going to be very annoying. However the quality of the food and the good service made me revise my opinion. The wine was also good and reasonably priced. So overall a good experience. We paid about €35 each for 12 shared plates and 3 bottles of wine, between 6 of us, which was quite sufficient.
