4/10I do not recommend this restaurant; the staff is very rude. The restaurant looks nice inside, the food is good, but the portions are small. It is not traditional cuisine, but rather international food. We had two reservations for 8 and 5 people, as we were 8 adults with 4 children and one baby, and it is not possible to make a reservation for more than 10 people through the app. They seated us at tables in two opposite corners of the restaurant. There were many empty tables near us. We asked if the children could be moved to a table next to us. We were told that it was not possible because the left side of the restaurant was closed. Of course, that side later filled up with customers, while the table next to us remained empty the entire time we were there. The staff was extremely rude and arrogant. It was very clear that they were annoyed that we had booked through the app and that all they wanted was for us to leave. A very unpleasant experience. I do not recommend this restaurant.

9.5/10Lovely little restaurant with nice ambiance . Food excellent- very tasty with lovely flavours- good quality. Nice choice of wines. Catered well for coeliac in party with several gluten free choices and GF bread. Felt a wee bit rushed at the end but they were needing table back and we were there two hours. Would have been better had they told us at the start they needed table back for a certain time. Restaurant took part in The Fork’s food festival so 50% off food was a great bonus. Would recommend Antigua.

This was hands down our best food experience in Barcelona. What an amazing way to experience some of the best quality seafood Barcelona offers, in an intimate dining space with less than 10 tables. Each dish was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and service was wonderfully friendly.

+1For starters, we ordered the burrata and the morcilla dish. The first one was mostly great, although burrata usually doesn’t involve much preparation by the restaurant. Still, the seasonings were nice, except for the leek, which felt a bit out of place. Regarding the morcilla, there was a kind of empanada which was delicious, but the crunchy cookie-looking bit was horrible… fortunately it was only a small piece. For main dishes, we ordered the salmon and the sea bass. I was not expecting a sushi style dish, so I was a bit disappointed. Still the salmon was good as were the tempuras. However, the aubergine that came with it was disgusting, we could not eat it… Regarding the other main dish, it was the only one where I enjoyed everything, so this one I could recommend. Finally, for dessert, we ordered the passion fruit extravagance but it was very average. I think the restaurant was too pricey for the quality of the food, despite having a great service and agreeable decorations.

10/10I went for a romantic evening with my boyfriend. Safe to say it was one of the best restaurants we ever tried in Barcelona, very good food, atmosphere and service at the right price, we will come back!

9/10This was generally an excellent dining experience. The food and wine were both extremely high quality. The octopus was perfectly cooked; this is a dish I do not enjoy when overcooked. The smoked salmon was delicious. The steamed seabass was as good as you would have in any fine quality Parisian bistro; a superb and delicately flavoured cream sauce. The lamb was succulent, with just the right amount of herbs and seasoning. Many of the tables around us were having the châteaubriand, cooked à table - it looked delicious, and is a dish we will be certainly order on the next occasion we visit. The extensive menu offers something for everyone. A hospitable environment completed this delicious meal at this very good neighbourhood restaurant.
