Delicious food. House red was better than expected. Our server was new, but very attentive. While it’sa small place, it’s not noisy.

The food was good. However, the service was disappointing. We went there with my kid, and at first they told us they were going to seat us at a table in the front. Then suddenly they asked us to move to the back, to the most hidden table possible. That was the first red flag. The second was that other customers who arrived after us got an explanation of the menu from the waiters, while no one explained anything to us. To make it worse, when we were leaving, there was a baby in a stroller seated at one of the front tables, which felt ironic considering that just a few minutes earlier they had moved us to the back because we had a kid. In the end, we just ate, paid as quickly as possible, and left. The food was fine, but the service made the experience feel uncomfortable.

Everything ok, not exceptional but good. the waitress was really nice and full of energy. There was a big "NO", which was the bad surprised of having the water eating his dinner (and that is ok) in the main dipingere room with the guests and... watching videos on his phone while eating with an open mouth... that was not acceptable.

The food was tasty bit not the best we had in Barcelona. The biggest disappointment though was the water. We asked for still water. They brought us TAP water in an open glass bottle with the name Antigua on it. When we asked if it was tap water, the server said yes. It tasted weird, so we were sure. We were charged 2.9 euro for each bottle of water. This we found umacceptable and not worthy of a good testaurant.

After living in Barcelona for 3 years I can confirm this is the best place to eat octopus (pulpo). Also the other dishes are very well executed. One of our favorites here in Barcelona.

I do not recommend this restaurant; the staff is very rude. The restaurant looks nice inside, the food is good, but the portions are small. It is not traditional cuisine, but rather international food. We had two reservations for 8 and 5 people, as we were 8 adults with 4 children and one baby, and it is not possible to make a reservation for more than 10 people through the app. They seated us at tables in two opposite corners of the restaurant. There were many empty tables near us. We asked if the children could be moved to a table next to us. We were told that it was not possible because the left side of the restaurant was closed. Of course, that side later filled up with customers, while the table next to us remained empty the entire time we were there. The staff was extremely rude and arrogant. It was very clear that they were annoyed that we had booked through the app and that all they wanted was for us to leave. A very unpleasant experience. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Lovely little restaurant with nice ambiance . Food excellent- very tasty with lovely flavours- good quality. Nice choice of wines. Catered well for coeliac in party with several gluten free choices and GF bread. Felt a wee bit rushed at the end but they were needing table back and we were there two hours. Would have been better had they told us at the start they needed table back for a certain time. Restaurant took part in The Fork’s food festival so 50% off food was a great bonus. Would recommend Antigua.

This was hands down our best food experience in Barcelona. What an amazing way to experience some of the best quality seafood Barcelona offers, in an intimate dining space with less than 10 tables. Each dish was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and service was wonderfully friendly.

Great food and service, however, we had to rush dessert, coffee and Cava due to the next turn waiting. It was a birthday celebration so the rush totally spoiled the experience.😔
