Very disappointing. Average quality food and definitely not a value for money. Worn out interiors. A terrible smell of fried fish in the air that sticks to your clothes and skin. Service was OK. Rest wasn’t. Not recommended.

Exquisite food, top service. The only pity is the ventilation system in the restaurant doesn’t seem strong enough. The cooking smell stays in the restaurant.

Great food; great sushi; great service. Only qualm is that the second floor ventilation system is connected directly with the deep fryer which made everything smell like fried food.

Amazing sushi. One of the best I’ve tasted in Paris. The area is nice cool on a Sunday. The only negative point was the server. He brought us twice plates that weren’t ours. when the table next to us asked from some soya sauce he took the one from our table while we were still eating. And when I asked him for soya sauce , he brought it back from the other table!!! Seriously !!! I couldn’t stop laughing. But beside that it’s a very chill place to have amazing sushi. And the tuna tartare was just marvelous

We had a terrible experience yesterday! We were a table of 4, but only 2 people wanted to order the signature tasting menu, and even though on the menu it’s specifically mentioned that there is a MINIMUM REQUIREMENT OF 2 people to order, the waiter said its mandatory that the WHOLE table order it!!!!!!! When asked why, he gave us a stupid excuse that the meals would not be served at the same time. I further insisted that we don t mind, but he still kept saying if you want the signature menu, have the whole table order it! This is unacceptable and it ruined my evening!

I have made a reservation indicating that someone was allergic to shellfish. When we arrived and were about to order, the allergic person asked again to make sure which dishes she could order. They asked the cook who said that everything was mixed in the kitchen. We left inmediately and had to look for another place to eat!! the restaurant could have told us beforehand...

Nothing was good. We had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seated, nobody took care of us. Then they brought us to a table which had no tablecloth and was like a picnic table! There was also a horrible smell which we couldn’t stand and left the restaurant immediately!

This seems to be an imagination of what Japanese food might be, from someone who has never been there. It certainly bears no resemblance to an Izakaya. That would be OK had the food or the service been good. It was not. We were seated for 20 minutes before a clearly stressed and sullen server approached. I ordered an Asahi beer (listed on the drink menu) was told “we don’t have Asahi beer”. I then asked then for a different listed beer and was told “we don’t have any beer.” OK, so I ordered 10cl of sake, which should come in a small carafe with two small glasses. It came instead in a single wine glass. I laughed out loud when I saw that; my wife and I shared it from a single glass. The hamachi carpaccio was thick slices of fish topped with jalapeños and radishes. Tasty actually, but not Japanese. The chirashi sushi was awful: dry rice underneath, some very fishy cooked fish on top alongside some mangled tuna and salmon chunks and roe with a very odd taste. Will not return.

We were seduced by the 9.7 The Fork rating but very disappointed by the dining experience. Boring food, processed/ jarred sauces, not the freshest fish and inconsistent slicing. Not inedible, but not good. The servers were nice. It’s not their fault.

Great culinary experience. The dishes are very creative and delicious. The foie gras Teriyaki and the mi-cuit chocolate macha cake are so recommended. Perfect fusion of Japanese and French gastronomy. I.will come back to try other plates.

They could not find my reservation first. Then they found it but they gave my table away so they suggested tge table next to the storage and eventualy tgey put me in the corner in the back of the restaurant. The waitress was embarassed and she was very good. The food was ok but as we say nothing to write home about. Sushi rice was not moist enough. Fish quality was good. Tunas too cold although good. Izakaya should have otger dishes like couple of ramen dishes and noddles. It is not an izakaya.

The tapas and sushi are not bad, but overpriced for what you get. €14 for 6 dumplings that you can get in any other Asian restaurant. Average flavor & good quality of fish, but not worth paying twice as much comparing to other places.

Food was delicious, air conditioned and service excellent. We arrived with less than an hour to eat because we had ballet tickets and they did everything to bring out the dishes quickly so we could make it in time. Just wish we’d had more time to savor each dish! We paid 120€ for two (no alcohol) which is not a cheap dinner but given the quality and the location no regrets!!!

Food was prepared extremely well. We had the omakase 5 course menu. Kumquat was added to the ceviche dish and enhanced the flavor greatly. Loved the tofu cream that was paired with asparagus. A nice block of salmon was cooked just right and young chicken was very tender and juicy. The only disappointment was the limited choices for sake and our choice was not available.
