8.5/10Went to dinner alone for my birthday. Service was excellent.. didn't love the fish, and i said i don't eat sesame and my desert had black sésame ice cream. The rest of my 5 course meal was excellent,

4/10We were seduced by the 9.7 The Fork rating but very disappointed by the dining experience. Boring food, processed/ jarred sauces, not the freshest fish and inconsistent slicing. Not inedible, but not good. The servers were nice. It’s not their fault.

10/10Great culinary experience. The dishes are very creative and delicious. The foie gras Teriyaki and the mi-cuit chocolate macha cake are so recommended. Perfect fusion of Japanese and French gastronomy. I.will come back to try other plates.

7.5/10They could not find my reservation first. Then they found it but they gave my table away so they suggested tge table next to the storage and eventualy tgey put me in the corner in the back of the restaurant. The waitress was embarassed and she was very good. The food was ok but as we say nothing to write home about. Sushi rice was not moist enough. Fish quality was good. Tunas too cold although good. Izakaya should have otger dishes like couple of ramen dishes and noddles. It is not an izakaya.

8/10The tapas and sushi are not bad, but overpriced for what you get. €14 for 6 dumplings that you can get in any other Asian restaurant. Average flavor & good quality of fish, but not worth paying twice as much comparing to other places.

10/10Food was delicious, air conditioned and service excellent. We arrived with less than an hour to eat because we had ballet tickets and they did everything to bring out the dishes quickly so we could make it in time. Just wish we’d had more time to savor each dish! We paid 120€ for two (no alcohol) which is not a cheap dinner but given the quality and the location no regrets!!!

9/10Food was prepared extremely well. We had the omakase 5 course menu. Kumquat was added to the ceviche dish and enhanced the flavor greatly. Loved the tofu cream that was paired with asparagus. A nice block of salmon was cooked just right and young chicken was very tender and juicy. The only disappointment was the limited choices for sake and our choice was not available.

10/10The restaurant was cozy and romantic. We picked the Carte Blanche for 69€ (excluding drinks). The food was amazing, chef’s kiss! Also, The service was moderately fast. The staff were helpful and inviting. Our waitress, Miho, was impeccable- dope! Great place to have celebrated our 1 year wedding anniv.

6/10First, let me say that this restaurant, like many others, does not provide discounts for people who dine alone, which is rather prejudicial. Not all of us happen to have a dining partner. In addition, at this restaurant, I found the manager to be rude. He removed a chair from my table that I was using for my hat and gloves. He put my things on the table where I was eating, dropped my gloves on the floor and didn't pick them up. Clearly, his only thought was bringing in money, not providing a positive experience for the customer. I will not return.

9/10Good food, well presented. We had the weekend tasting menu. My disappointment lies in the fact that I was expecting a more Japanese focus. The one sushi offering was disappointing. The ratio of rice to fish was heavy, and the rice was not seasoned , so for that course the dish was a fail. The foie gras was expertly prepared, but the lamb chops could have benefited from a tiny sprinkle of salt. These prevented the review from being excellent.

9.5/10Wonderful imaginative franco-japanese dishes - the 7 course Omikazi menu is a fantastic value! Not the place for a quiet 3 hour haute cuisine experience, but I highly recommend it if you’re primarily interested in the food!

9.5/10This Japanese restaurant checks all the boxes for freshness, quality ingredients, taste & superb service. Was blown away by the beef carpaccio salad… beef is seasoned well, tender that accompanied the most refreshing salad - perfect start to meal. Sashimi was thick and fresh. The maki rolls are not to be missed, we had the salmon and unagi - both were incredibly delicious and generous in portion. Tempura was also fried perfectly - exactly what you would get in Japan. If I had to make one critique, it will be the mochi skin, a bit dry and rough but still not bad and I like that it is not so sweet. Highly recommend you come if you want a real Japanese meal without breaking the bank. Didn’t try the omakase but they have several choices starting from €55 to 69 - which is very good for Paris standard. Cosy and warm ambiance makes it a nice place for a date or celebration. 8/10Nice resto and very good food. However, we chose the omakaze set, with wine / sake pairing. Disappointing, since much of the food was French (e.g. fois gras, magret de canard) and not Japanese. Only two of five drinks were sake. Quality of everything very high—but expectations quite misaligned.
