9.5/10We hadn’t had many good restaurant experiences in Rome given that a lot of the good restaurants in Rome were closed in August. So this time it was a pleasant surprise to have tasty food. The flavors were wonderful and service was excellent!

6/10The pasta were ok, but not very surprising. The tuna was too salty and oily. The dessert makes the taste even heavier. There are rooms to improve the overall balance. On the other hand, the waiter and waitress need training to improve their service. Lack of English skill is not a problem, but lack of attitude is a big problem. The service is even ruder than the normal restaurants, I dont feel I was welcomed

10/10Highly recommend, both dinner and service were great. While the staff may at times struggle with English and we were the only foreign guests there, the dinner was delicious. Highly recommend!

10/10+4This is my favourite restaurant in Rome !! Inventive, contemporary but with an authentic feel and atmosphere. The tasting menu is a must, perfect to satisfy the appetite and intriguing food combinations. Service is attentive but not overbearing….. Delightful experience.

9/10Our first real experience of a tasting menu. The restaurant itself is small, nice ambiance and decor. The service was excellent, the food itself was immaculately presented and each dish was explained prior to service at our table. We have visited Michelin star restaurants in the past and this restaurant would compare equally for Food tasting with them. When we are back in Rome we would return but we would try a different menu.

10/10Fantastic Tasting Menu!! All I would say what is presentation on everything with spectacular all the Andres and levels of flavor. We're fantastic. The only thing I can say would be go a little bit later on this all for us! Can't wait to come back!

9/10First class food with amazing flavour combinations, coupled with excellent service. We chose to sit outside (as it was a lovely warm evening) and the ambience was a little lacking (made worse by a very wobbly table!) but we had a lovely meal and it was excellent value for money. This restaurant deserves all the praise it's had recently - highly recommended.

6.5/10We had the sole. Such a confused dish. Tiny cubes of fish with over prepared servings of vegetables that were impossible to identify. They didn’t have several of the wines we chose from the menu.

9.5/10Gem of a restaurant. I went early evening when it was still quiet and had a modest but excellent vegetarian meal. Superb little touches throughout (choice of salts for the olive oil bread!) and a knowledgeable waiter made it a lovely experience.

7.5/10Interesting restaurant. The food is good. The actual menu is more than a little annoying. The descriptions of food and some combinations are very pretentious. I like to know what I’m eating. Very pompous descriptions. Interesting place. One trick pony.

10/10Lovely cozy little restaurant with excellent food and superb presentation. Don’t miss out on the duck appetizer. The tuna was also amazing, as were the pasta dishes. There were little snacks in between dishes that were heavenly. The passion fruit cheesecake was light, tangy and delicious.

10/10We had Christmas Eve dinner here and the entire experience was amazing! The chef and staff put so much heart and soul into the food and service. It was well worth the money.

10/10We had a fantastic Christmas Eve lunch at Aqualunae! Our reservation was late in the afternoon, and we were the only table in the restaurant. Our server was wonderful, especially with our 3 year old. Wish we could have gone back for the Christmas Eve dinner! Highly recommend!

7.5/10Food as theatre. While we enjoyed our meal, the chef seemed more focused on wowing you with his unusual flavors, combinations, and presentations rather than a meal that tasted good. This restaurant is for the adventurous foodie, and not for the feint of heart. While my husband and I are the former, we struggled with the menu, and neither of us particularly enjoyed our main entrees. There were hints of greatness, and with some more experience, this will be a fabulous place to dine.

10/10Very nice restaurant and great food. 2 in our party (of 4) are vegan and the serving staff and chef accommodated them brilliantly (starter, main, dessert): their dishes were as good as the other dishes from the menu.

6/10We liked the food and wine. The smoked taste of the tuna was very special. A little overdone, e.g. to let guests choose between 6 different salts for just a single piece of bread dip. The service was OK but felt uncomfortable, the atmosphere was cold. It’s not in balance with the level of the food and the main recommendation for the restaurant to improve this.
