Food quality, taste and optical presentation of the menue were high class, the inside environement of the restaurant very nice. All supported by an excellent organized and friendly service.

Aqualunae Bistrot is an absolute gem in Rome. Every dish was a delight, beautifully presented, full of refined flavors and delicate aromas. The service was impeccable, with thoughtful touches throughout the meal, including delicious savory and sweet amuse-bouches served between courses. A perfect blend of creativity, elegance, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, with uniquely conceived takes on dishes that made the eating experience interesting. The owner/chef introduced himself, and was very warm and kind, as were the other staff. Maria, who was both a hostess, and an our server, was also warm, kind and very helpful when we asked questions. She and the chef, even made sure my birthday was acknowledged with a candle lite dessert!

creative food with attention to detail. we were able to request a change without problem. enjoyed eggplant parmigiana, cuttlefish, veal with tuna, and lemon risotto. excellent service.

Liked the tasting menu with choices. Innovative & delicious choices, like the tuna & tiramisu, worked well. Excellent service , nice wine pairing. Charming venue. Highly recommend!

Very well executed dishes! The seared beef Sashimi and the tuna Tataki were sensational, with wonderful presentation, and a perfection of balanced seasonings. The waitstaff was kind and helpful. The premises was very clean. I would enjoy eating at Aqualunae Bistrot again in the future.

FANTASTIC! Unbelievable flavors! Wonderful service and ambiance. Lunch after the Vatican. If you are in ROME I highly recommend a meal at this spot!

+7Impeccable service, STELLAR food, Did the Pre Fixe menu, seafood version and beef versions. Also had scallops and risotto. Bread and in between items were great. Had the featured martini as well, recommend.

We hadn’t had many good restaurant experiences in Rome given that a lot of the good restaurants in Rome were closed in August. So this time it was a pleasant surprise to have tasty food. The flavors were wonderful and service was excellent!

The pasta were ok, but not very surprising. The tuna was too salty and oily. The dessert makes the taste even heavier. There are rooms to improve the overall balance. On the other hand, the waiter and waitress need training to improve their service. Lack of English skill is not a problem, but lack of attitude is a big problem. The service is even ruder than the normal restaurants, I dont feel I was welcomed

Highly recommend, both dinner and service were great. While the staff may at times struggle with English and we were the only foreign guests there, the dinner was delicious. Highly recommend!

+4This is my favourite restaurant in Rome !! Inventive, contemporary but with an authentic feel and atmosphere. The tasting menu is a must, perfect to satisfy the appetite and intriguing food combinations. Service is attentive but not overbearing….. Delightful experience.

Our first real experience of a tasting menu. The restaurant itself is small, nice ambiance and decor. The service was excellent, the food itself was immaculately presented and each dish was explained prior to service at our table. We have visited Michelin star restaurants in the past and this restaurant would compare equally for Food tasting with them. When we are back in Rome we would return but we would try a different menu.

Fantastic Tasting Menu!! All I would say what is presentation on everything with spectacular all the Andres and levels of flavor. We're fantastic. The only thing I can say would be go a little bit later on this all for us! Can't wait to come back!

The service and food were a delight on a pat with Michelin restaurants we have visited The photos of the restaurant interior are of a different establishment. The tables and chair set out and quality is far superior to the ones in the photos

First class food with amazing flavour combinations, coupled with excellent service. We chose to sit outside (as it was a lovely warm evening) and the ambience was a little lacking (made worse by a very wobbly table!) but we had a lovely meal and it was excellent value for money. This restaurant deserves all the praise it's had recently - highly recommended.

We had the sole. Such a confused dish. Tiny cubes of fish with over prepared servings of vegetables that were impossible to identify. They didn’t have several of the wines we chose from the menu.

Gem of a restaurant. I went early evening when it was still quiet and had a modest but excellent vegetarian meal. Superb little touches throughout (choice of salts for the olive oil bread!) and a knowledgeable waiter made it a lovely experience.

Interesting restaurant. The food is good. The actual menu is more than a little annoying. The descriptions of food and some combinations are very pretentious. I like to know what I’m eating. Very pompous descriptions. Interesting place. One trick pony.

We had a fantastic Christmas Eve lunch at Aqualunae! Our reservation was late in the afternoon, and we were the only table in the restaurant. Our server was wonderful, especially with our 3 year old. Wish we could have gone back for the Christmas Eve dinner! Highly recommend!

Great food - clearly a talented chef works here. Little tasters throughout the meal made it extra special. Very attentive service and a good choice of wine.

The food is outstanding. There is some added theatre in the way the beef and venison are served. They have put a lot of thought into the flavours they combine. It’s a treat to eat here.

Very nice restaurant and great food. 2 in our party (of 4) are vegan and the serving staff and chef accommodated them brilliantly (starter, main, dessert): their dishes were as good as the other dishes from the menu.
