The food is good and feels healthy, but it is not exceptional. The service was very good. For example, we asked for a salad and they made us one despite salads not being on the menu. One element that I found very challenging is what I call "restaurant musac." It is a trend over the past 20 years or so for restaurants to have this fast rhythm, intense beat, music. I find that it interferes with the experience and frankly, gives me a headache. The server was kind enough to turn it down, which really helped, but I was surprised to hear that they could not simply change it. In any case, overall, it was a nice experience, reasonably priced, with good quality food.

+2I was early to the hotel where the restaurant was located so I decided to get a drink at the roof top bar. Definitely worth a visit around sunset! Great view and bar selection. I cannot say enough positive about Aquamarina the ambiance , lovely, the service excellence and the food was amazing! Loved the mixed seafood starter, and lobster pasta was out of this world. The hotel was very nice as well!

Excellent seafood focused food and outstanding wine by the glass program. Be prepared for a long meal because service is extremely slow even by Italian standards

We stumbled upon this place while walking the streets of Rome and made a reservation for the following evening. If you want to avoid the crowds and get a top quality dining experience I would highly recommend. The prices are fair for the quality but as expected on the higher end. The tiramisu was amazing would highly recommend!

Elegant atmosphere, excellent service, and excellent food. The quiet luxurious setting was a welcome change from the usual hectic and crowded Trevi area experience.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our second ever Valentine’s Day here and I must say it was quite enjoyable. While I have notes for everything I can truly say that it helped us slow down, become more present, and breath in the pleasant atmosphere of the world around us. A killer finish to an amazing day!

Carlo and Mateo made our dining experience incredible. The chef did an outstanding job on the baked sea bass and potato dish that accompanied the fish. We were served a zucchini blossom, complimentary which was so perfectly prepared. The wine list is impressive and we enjoyed a nice wine from Tuscany. We cannot say enough good things about Aquamarine, the food, the service and the ambience.

Excellent food and atmosphere for lunch. Stuffed zucchini blossom followed by and incredible pasta with sea bass, garlic, olive oil. Staff friendly and efficient. Superb wines by the glass.

My wife and I are visiting Rome for our spring break. We just had an incredibly delicious dinner at Aquamarina. Its assorted seafood carpaccio and tartare was outstanding. We shared the whole grilled turbot, which was also extraordinary. We are serious seafood lovers from Boston. I’m a Japanese guy. For us, Aquamarina is the best seafood restaurant on the planet!!! Our server Martino was extremely attentive too. We will return in 3 days to celebrate my birthday!

+1Dinner was outstanding! Service was impeccable! We had amazing appetizers followed by the "catch of the day," which was a one kilo Sea Bass cooked to perfection. The chef came out when it was served, and our waiter expertly deboned, skinned and fileted it tableside. The waiter even prepared the "cheek" which was full of flavor! Dessert was a beautiful presentation and lots of flavor. Wine and cappuccino were very good. We wholeheartedly recommend Aquamarina!

We were very lucky to have found this restaurant on the fork. The staff is warm, friendly, and professional. The food was above expectation. We were relaxed, comfortable and would frequent this establishment, if we lived in Rome. A satisfying and wonderful discovery.
