My wife and I highly enjoyed our visit. Ty’s food was excellent. The ambience was exactly what you want in a visit to Venice. The service was great also. Give it a visit, you will be happy.

Phenomenal food! Our waiter made great suggestions from wine to food, the food was incredible and we even got to try some delicious lemoncello.

Wonderful waiter helped us choose a celebratory bottle of Italian wine that was delicious. We sat at an outdoor table within steps of the canal! This is a special place among many ordinary restaurants. Our beautiful Lu presented dishes were delicious.

We were seating right away. Food was ok. Pizza was basic. They were out of prawns.
Aquila restaurant wine barWe don't understand your review. We believe it's a mistake because you didn't specify what you didn't like. Please remember that we are a restaurant, not a pizzeria. Our restaurant strives to offer only high-quality products, as you've probably noticed. Calling our pizza basic and our food okay is incorrect. Furthermore, we strongly believe this review is completely incorrect and misplaced, as we never finished the prawns, especially during your visit.

This was the second time we visited this restaurant, last time was in November 2024. The staff were lovely and helped me with my attempt at Italian pronunciation. The food was delicious and service was quick. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Venice.

Really disappointed with this restaurant Had the worst bottle of wine ever and when mentioned just got a shrug. I have never left 2/3 rds is a bottle ever. Girl bought us some biscuits at the end of the meal as speciality to the island and they were stale

Love their bread with olive oil , so good to ask for more.

Pros: - great serving on antipasti with a bit of smoke show - location is really close to main train station and easy to find - non-conventional, in a good sense l, Italian restaurant Cons: - prawn ravioli are not recommended - staff is undertrained: no real knowledge of wine in the menu; you don't serve aperol by bringing it in your claw - there is a tray for it.

We had a great meal at Aquila Restaurant & Wine Bar. The codfish appetizer, the gnocchi primo, and the seared tuna secondo were all excellent. Also enjoyed the local Pinot Grigiot. So far this has been our best meal in Venice. We are likely to return before we leave next week.

Located right across the street from our hotel (Principe) we found this little gem of a restaurant. Excellent local cuisine and wonderful wines. Service was top notch. Very friendly staff and management. Will definitely eat here again on next trip to Venice.

The food and service here were excellent! Delicious, carefully presented meals with perfect portion sizes for us. Lovely selection of local wines too, the Sauvignon Blanc we chose was delightful. The only tiny thing we would change is to lower the lighting a little, it was too bright for our liking during a quiet evening meal as a couple.
