The asparagus plate and the gazpacho were particularly inspired. But we sampled 11 different dishes and all were beautiful and delicious. The host did a wonderful job accommodating our preferences/allergies, and sommelier chose a modestly priced mid-weight local red wine for us that was perfect for the suckling pig and veal. Impeccable evening.

Beautiful, delicious food in a gorgeous setting. I went as a solo diner, and the staff were warm and attentive, and my table was perfect.

Food and hospitality were excellent. We thank the management for the very good work. The dinner was exceptionally good. In short we have enjoyed the evening. It was marvalleous

It is a long time since we ate at Arcadas, but we had a good experience last time and we were celebrating so expected a treat. Having chosen our dishes we were then given the chef's complimentary 'muse bouche' which was OK, but then there was another and another one by which time we had lost our appetites for the main course and actually drank more wine than I intended to. I think these extra dishes are unnecessary and they were fussy and not particularly tasty especially the puréed vegetables. I would prefer the chef to keep things simple to show off the main ingredients skilfully cooked.

The restaurant in an amazing building with the history .! The restaurant location and a view is amazing. The food was good ,but overpriced . Also to many compinemets from the shef before you get to a real dinner

Absolutely wonderful! Impeccable service and exquisite food. We loved it so much, we made another reservation. It’s a bit tricky to find. Look for the large white gate, get out of the car and press the bell. Explain that you have a reservation for the restaurant and the gate will open.

The food was outstanding. Very creative combination of flavours, perfectly paired with Portuguese wines. The service was fantastic and the ambiance very relaxing and beautiful. I’ll definitely come back!

The arrival at the restaurant will give big expectations, it’s a beautifull place, but very old. We took the 5 courses with a wine experience. The amuse was nice, the rest of the dishes where quite big, I was defenitely missing suprisingly tastes and excitement. The wines and service where great tho....

This is our favorite place in Portugal to dine. On the average we eat at around 20 places a month when visiting Portugal and Arcada is still our top choice.
