What an absolute treat to dine at this restuarant. The vegetarian food was beautifully presented and exceptionally well paired with the wines! So glad that we managed to experience the wonderful ambience, exceptional service and delicious food on our visit from Cape Town, South Africa to Lisbon! We can highly recommend Arkhe!

We went for the 5 course meal. Except for one plate that we found only ok, all others were truly exceptional We enjoyed our meal very much. Excellent service.

We had a lovely meal, with fun food, The waiter and barman were lovely and very attentive. The cherry starter was so memorable!!!! The AC could be better, it felt warm there.

We loved it! The flavors were bright and bold. The dishes were visually beautiful and tasted even better. My partner is vegetarian, and I made the reservation with him in mind. I loved the meal as much as he did and didn’t miss seafood or meat. Thank you to Arkhe for a wonderful meal!

Easily the best meal we’ve had in Portugal - and probably the best meal we’ve ever had period. Each dish was a small work of art balancing flavors, textures and colors. The staff was fantastic- attentive, professional and friendly. What a treat from the first bite to the last sip!

O Arkhe foi uma maravilhosa descoberta! É toda uma experiência gastronómica, é elevar a cozinha vegetariana a um nível incrível, com uma qualidade como dificilmente se encontra num restaurante deste género. Não só a comida, mas também o atendimento se demarca com grande distinção.

I am not a vegetarian - but this dinner was a mind-blowing culinary experience for me. I originally went to Arkhe to make my vegetarian partner happy. I definately will return. I went to other Michelin rated restaurants during our Lisbon visit. None could come close to this ingenuity.

This restaurant is superb. I had one of the best tasting menus of my life, not simply "vegetarian tasting menu." The wait staff could not have been more kind and were a delight to talk with. The wine pairings were excellent, and the combination of the food and wine showed off the Portuguese foodstuffs. It was expensive, but of very high value; if you're a foodie, be sure to visit. I look forward to returning sometime.

This may be the best meal I’ve ever had in my 34 years on this planet. Everything was packed so full of flavor in every small bite. The presentation felt like I was eating art pieces. And everything was perfectly portioned. If you’re even remotely interested don’t think twice, go for it.

Amazing food, friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff, and pacing. Everything is imaginative and lick-your-plate delicious! My carnivore husband said it was the best meal in Lisbon and he was too full to get the hamburger he thought he would need at the end.

Arkhe is incredibly creative with their menu and provided outstanding, friendly service. This was one of the best meals I've ever had! It was especially great to enjoy a vegetarian tasting menu, whereas vegetarian dishes are often an afterthought at other gourmet restaurants.

Learned of this restaurant in a New York Times article. So glad I immediately made a reservation. Apparently they now booked for months into the future. It was a perfect conclusion to our Portugal travels. The food was fantastic and the staff were pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend.
