8/10Good food. The lead host was distracted by friends in the restaurant. The mole sauce was amazing, and the pricing was fair. The rest is not something I would need to visit again.

6.5/10The first dish of the four course tasting menu contained so much wild garlic that the taste of the other three dishes was spoilt by the lingering strong garlic. Better menu planning I think is necessary. Service was a little haphazard. Overall we were disappointed.

4/10The food is not that great to be on Michelin quality, and seating was terrible they put us in a small table next to the service station and in the middle of the hallway and people walk by all the time.

10/10We went for a set menu with the wine pairing and we definitely recommend that. Every fish was delicious and of full taste. The service was lovely.

7.5/10My husband had the 4 course meal and I opted for a salad and main course with wine pairings. The disappointment came when both my husband and I had the romaine salad, his looked and tasted amazing, but mine came and was wet and wilted, even the stem looked old and the top of the leaves were cut off and wilted, and it was wilted inside. As he dug into his salad and I cut mine open, I pointed out the discrepancy. They were quick to take it away, but only to bring it back to assure me it was fresh and the chef had intended it to be served wilted and wet, and the Chef must have just torched it maybe a bit longer than the other. I was offered another appetizer but since there was only meat based appetizers for a replacement I reluctantly took the same sad wilted salad back and ate it “as the Chef intended”. The texture was terrible and reminded me of eating yesterday’s dressed salad that spent the night in the fridge. The mains were both fine, nice and flavourful. Dessert was lovely.

10/10Lovely restaurant with excellent food, the menu was perfectly timed, the wine was a good companion. The service was very nice without overdoing it. It was nice that they respected my wife‘s pregnancy and put in efforts to adjust the menu to her. Thank you!

10/10This was my second time at Arles, this time with a large group of work colleagues. The food is fabulous for both vegetarians and non - really wonderful service and I love the atmosphere. We could hear each other talk. Great wine. I will go back again and again.

7.5/10The ambiance was incredible and the space was beautiful and relaxing. The food was good, the seasonal menu was very enjoyable. The service was a bit challenged - we did not get a menu or water or asked about a beverage for 25 minutes after being seated.

8/10Lovely place and good service, only negative was that the menu is very small and having both fish and beef as options for both starter and main course leaves very few options to select for 4 courses, so we had 3 but left a bit hungry.

+3Tables were a bit close together - you were part of the adjoining table's conversation whether you wanted to or not. There's a reason they have a Bib Gourmand - food and service were an excellent deal for the price. If they pay just a touch more attention to service (probably they were short one staffer the night we were there), and tighten up a few slight misses (too much vinegar in a sauce in one course, short on salt in another) they could get their first star.

4/10Service was nice and attentive. Food was well presented, but the taste was bland. The restaurant seems lovely, and I’m sure we would have enjoyed it more on another day. Unfortunately, we were placed in the same room with a loud party of 10 other persons. In the end, it was a torturing evening of noises and tasteless food.

10/10One of us had the Bib gourmand menu and one a la carte - both 3 courses. Couldn’t fault any of it, but the vitello mackerel, cod and chicken dishes were all exceptional. Also good was the riz au lait- the most luxurious rice pudding I have ever tasted! For the quality of the food, preparation and service, this was excellent value. The wine pairings were very well chosen. Would definitely return on a future visit to Amsterdam.

10/10This was an anniversary meal (20th) and was everything we wanted. The atmosphere was calm, casual, intimate but not stuffy. The front of house staff were delightful. They were pleasant, attentive, good humoured but also very knowledgeable about the food and wine options. They were clearly enthusiasts for the food they were serving. The food was a nice blend of classic French and approachably innovative and absolutely delicious. The decor was simple with stylish art. The facilities very clean and fresh. We have friends coming to Amsterdam in the next few weeks and months and will definitely be recommending Arles.

10/10A jewel of contemporary cuisine, showcasing modern techniques and exquisite balance of flavours. Mackerel with cucumber and mint was a summery dance across the palate in which the delicacy of the ingredients came together in an agglomeration of taste. The little gem and apricot salad with duck yolk and miso dressing may well be the greatest salad I have ever tasted. Puddings are no less exquisite and the grown-up lemon meringue with zesty pink grapefruit pulp was a revelation. Merci, dank U, thank you. We shall return.
