10/10Asadero Real in Madrid offers an unforgettable dining experience for lovers of traditional Spanish cuisine. The star of the menu, their cochinillo, is cooked to perfection—crispy skin giving way to tender, succulent meat that melts in your mouth. The ambiance is charming, familiar and initimate (we loved the wooden division between tables). Service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring a delightful visit. Asadero Real is a must-visit for an authentic taste of Spain's culinary heritage.

8/10We keep coming here year after year, food is still great. Particularly lamb kidneys and suckling pig. But the ambience is getting tired. May be that's the point.

9.5/10This little restaurant was a great find under the bridge. Food was excellent. Love the appetizer as well as the cochinillo, the best in town. Service was great too! Of course, since the staff were all Filipinos!

10/10I have been visiting this restaurant during my visits to Madrid for over 20 years, and it continues to be an EXCELLENT choice for traditional Spanish cuisine. The food is simply delicious, high quality of all the ingredients, excellent wine list and very good service. From the outside the location does not impress, but inside it is a very spacious and comfortable restaurant. It has significant seating capacity but it is never crowded.

8/10We were looking for a cochinillo azado. We had it but we didn't like it at all its not cochinillo azado I'd like to say it wasn't azado at all. .very disappointing for us. . Nice restaurant nice service I recommended it but do not ask for cochinillo azado.

5.5/10Food was great, but the service was the worst I have seen. The restaurant was empty when we arrived. The waitress threw three versions of menus of different languages at our table and disappeared without even looked at us. Then she reappeared after ten minutes, and yelled at us “what do you want?” We ordered suckling pigs for two people, then she yelled “no potatoes no salad?” I told her no. She gave me a dirty look and left. Then she brought out bread and some peppers. We asked for some butter, she left without even looked at us. Then a women looked like a manager came by and asked us what we need. We finally got out butter. The waitress seemed so angry and full of resentment during the entire service. She never smiled, never said thank you. We really don’t know what was wrong with her. I think prison guards have better attitudes than her. What a shame. The food was great,

7/10The welcome was friendly but felt a bit chaotic. We ordered the suckling pig for my wife. That was delicious she said but for myself I ordered a veal entrecôte that should have been tender to eat and cut but from the start I could not get through the meat and asked for a sharp knife that was bought. After that I could cut it but had to use some muscle power and long chewing on the bit of veal. So that was disappointing and told them so. Service was good and fast. Wine was excellent and the bottle was put on ice.

10/10Welcoming staff and delicious food! I quite like the atmosphere as well. The price is not cheap but it is totally worthy. I would like to go there again

7/10It is a very classical Spanish restaurant. Not for the light eater! Their Cordero and cochinillo were good as were the asparagus, morcilla de Burgos. Good service, good ambience .solid food..

9.5/10A wonderful spot for carnivores, with a nice inexpensive wine selection. It's tucked in the street down below the McDonalds and not directly off the square which we expected so it took us a while to find it. I found it funny that The Fork listed this as a BBQ restaurant, which usually means a different style for us Americans. For dinner, we had the roast suckling pig which was outstanding, and the acorn fed chorizo with sweetest red peppers I have eaten anywhere, for appetizers. Topped it off with an outstanding crème caramel for dessert.

10/10This was our second visit in two days the food was tasty and well prepared. Of high quality we had the fresh huelva prawns. And for seconds a quarter baby lamb . Eooden oven prepared i would class as awesome together with noce rioja wine . A very pleasant dining experiance . We were given a perfect table .and service was great attentive without being intrusive i would highly reccommend this restaurant a must if u visit madrid

9.5/10We specially went to try the suckling baby pig which i must say was very tasty indeed sevice was excellent . Will def return . Only minor gripe was not much room between tables . Which the waiter promptly sorted as best he could . Great experiance

6/10Not what we expected it had good reviews but unjustified. The meat was ok but the accompanying dishes bland, basic and not cheap. There are so many good places in Madrid we felt very let down by the reviews as we only had one night to eat out!
