it's a very authentic Site listening to Fado and the food is very good

The music was great. It felt really authentic. Speaking was English with Fado in Portuguese. The food was ok for that type of event. Service was attentive with plenty of wine. The setting is an old feeling Fado club with old records and photos on the wall. Guests are seated together at long tables on benches. Those hard benches to get a little tough after 3 hours. The audience was 100% tourist. If you worry about COVID-19, probably best to stay away.

Great service, beautiful place and brilliant singers! Every time someone is visiting us we are taking them to Associação do Fado Casto, and it’s always a perfect 10!

It is the perfect introduction to Fado music! The food is fantastic (although for us a bit too much in volume). It felt like a neighbourhood fest with grandma's food! Absolutely amazing. Would recommend 10/10

Unique experience! Traditional Portuguese meal served family style including beer and wine. Between cources Fado singers entertained the audience. Great value.

The music was nice -- if not great -- but there was too much time waiting for the music to start. The food was mediocre and there was no need for 18 courses. We went in summer and there was no ventilation, no windows, no fans and no air conditioning so it was a bit of a sweat box. Might have been better in a different season.

Food was great. Fado performances left a lot to be desired. One singer in jeans. Have has better for about half the price. Room is airless and unbearably hot

The staff was very kind and the music/entertainment was nice but the overall experience was disappointing. The restaurant /building was extremely hot with minimal ventilation. There are no windows and they close the door. The food also left much to be desired, it didn’t seem of restaurant quality. The wine was also pretty bad. I would not recommend it.

The restaurant was extremely hot with no working AC or ventilation. It was almost unbearable. Food and wine were mediocre.

The entire experience was incredible- the food, the performers, the staff, everything was fantastic. There were approximately 18 dishes served with generous portions- no one left hungry!!

Overpriced for the quality of the food served. Performs took a break after only 3 songs. Server could not tell me what fish was in the fish cakes.

The fado singers, the food and the service were remarkable! This was our third visit and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend this dado house!

What a great find. The performances were amazing and the service was so friendly and accommodating. We are vegetarians, and they accommodated our needs. Our reservation was for 8:30 and the music began at 9:00. We saw 5 or 6 performers and all were fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant atmosphere and setting for Fado. Food was good and plentiful and wine was not half bad! The singers and musicians really made the evening. Superb!

This is not the first time I've been to Casa de Fado and each time I thoroughly enjoy myself. I'm grateful I don't have to slog through some mediocre meal and instead am served multiple small dishes to share that are fun and well prepared. The staff is accommodating and upbeat. The setting, in a Roman-era hall, is marvelous. And of course the fado is always excellent!

Staff, service, dishes and the ambiance was wonderful. Additionally, Fado was incredible! If i had chosen this restaurant in my first day in Lisboa, i wouldn’t experience the others.

Wonderful! The performances were excellent and there was plenty of food and drink. Be sure to pace yourself eating as after each performance more food is brought out. If you love music be sure to visit.

Great place to experience the Fado music over wine! We came an hour before it started so we’re able to enjoy the tapas and wine! Great ambience! Singers have very good voice and guitarist are excellent ! I highly recommend to experience!

The Fado singers had extraordinary voices and made the night magical for us. The food was just as advertised with perfect portion sizes and very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place for a true Portuguese experience!!!

This fado show was great. Good food and great singers. We could have stayed all night! A must if you love Fado! We would highly recommend this place!
