This was our second visit to Au Bistro and if possible, the second visit surpassed the first. It appears to be a very popular neighborhood restaurant but even though “not local” we were made to feel so welcome and appreciated. A small attentive team attends to patron wishes and the menu boasts a number of wonderful traditional French dishes with specials posted daily. Don one of the charming apron bobs offered and enjoy the ambiance and wonderful food. We will definitely return. Merci Au Bistro! A la prochaine!

The Chef was so happy to make our children feel right at home in Paris. It was a nice 'Bienvenue au Paris' and the food was delicious.

Small bistro in a busy area of Paris. I worried that I was reserving a tourist trap, but Au Bistro was not that. It is a quaint little bistro with table seating for less than 20 people and bar seats for another 4-5. It was clear that many of the other guests knew each other, like it was a regular meeting spot for them. It felt authentic. The prices were reasonable (I was a little surprised that the cost was not more) and my family very much enjoyed our Monday night dinner at Au Bistro. Stay for dessert, you won't regret it.

Very kind staff. Tasty food and good wines. There are many options on the menu. The tables are very close of each other, but the restaurant is very good.

I chose this Bistro based on other people’s reviews and it didn’t disappoint! Small, intimate and friendly, this place is a traditional French Bistro filled with local patrons and clearly many repeat customers. I was dining alone, and the chef came out to take me through the menu and provided me with recommendations as to both food and wine - both of which were delicious. The tables are very close together, so much so that as the bistro started filling up, we all ended up chatting to each other. I highly recommend!

A small restaurant that was completely full at lunch today and I can see why. Delicious food, reasonable prices and obviously home cooking since you can see the chef at work. We had a table, but it would be OK to sit at the bar too (although the bar stools looked a bit difficult to sit on comfortably. Only one other pair of tourists that we could see out of about 20 diners. We had green asparagus with a mustardy sauce that was super, then my wife had a terrine (very large portion) and I had a house-made portion of fois gras with toast. With a 50 cl portion of burgundy wine and two coffees the tab was reasonable considering the quality. It is crowded and noisy, but certainly worth a return visit

We were looking for an authentic French bistro and we found it! What a treasure in the 1st so close to the Gardens and the Louvre. Reasonable prices,, a welcoming host and staff, and a fun vibe. The food was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening here.

Great fun with a genuine friendly owner. Really enjoyed the buzz and the banter. Basic menu well executed and a good quality selection of wines.

This chef deserves Michelin stars. The food was spectacular and the service was impeccable. I was looking for authentic and this place nailed It!!!

We had two wonderful dinners here during our stay in Paris. It is one thing to go to a restaurant, enjoy it and move on; something very different to make the choice to return, we did and was again very enjoyable.

Recommended by our host and did not disappoint! Small and intimate spot with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Dinners were very good as were the cocktails.

Owner, cook, bartender, server - all in one!!! Superb and amazing experience. Loved it!!! Food great and service amazing - a true gem! Will return when in Paris again!!!

A little bistro with nice atmosphere. Very welcoming staff who is also the chef. The food was excellent. I highly recommended and I will definitely visit it again when I am next in Paris!
