Excellent food (The cheese plate was spectacular). Very nice service. Good selection of wine. All in all a top experience.

Went to this restaurant with high expectations having read reviews. Very disappointed. 8 pm booking. We were there on time. Our wine arrived at 8:45 and the first course at 9:15. The cooking was not worth the wait. Wouldn't go there again. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

A warm welcome and absolutely delicious food make Au Clair de la Vigne a winner. There are many mediocre restaurants at the port, this is not one of them. Will be back soon!

The quality of the dishes was amazing. Served by the owners of the restaurant giving some advices of the wines that they offer. In sumary it was a good experience.

behind the facade of an apparently typical bistro lies an extraordinary kitchen. Though they emphasize their knowledge of local wines, the quality of the food--try the fish--is extraordinary.

I read about the place in the Michelin guide, and while it is not stared I expected exceptional food. The food was good. It wasn't great. The attention to detail in the ingredients was there the authenticity of the product was also there but it stumbled in the execution. The dishes where colder that they should. The salt could have been a bit more balanced. Did it make it a bad experience? Not at all! Just not the level I expected. On the plus side, the staff was kind attentive and very knowledgeable. The desert was amazing and the cheese platter was something to write home about. 9 cheeses all selected for their uniqueness. The wines were also excellent and we were offered to have a wine by the glass that was only.on the menu as a bottle; showing the staffs care to.our experience. Over all not the best food I've had but a great service experience and a few highlights that made it a good night in the end

I don't think you will find better food in Bandol. Charming service. Nice wines.

Located on a back street of Bandol with seating both inside and outside. €40 euro menu. Started with a delicious risotto. Followed by Duck. An underwhelming dish. Finished with a superb cheese selection.

Lovely meal. The risotto to start was delicious. Gratin with the beef was excellent. Cheese selection to finish was also great and very generous. Staff were super friendly and very attentive.

This restaurant deserve at least a Michelin recommendation! Level of food is very high, not a big menu list but everything we got was fantastic. Great wine list and service was very nice!

Lovely Meal with my boyfriend lastnight. Side street setting made for a less interrupted meal. Staff were super friendly and took time to explain the wine and dishes to us. Was fairly reasonably priced for the location, as Bandol can be very expensive. Small Menu but nice variety of dishes, which made for easy decision but an extensive Wine Menu. My only critical comment would be that, personally I would have preferred a little more seasoning throughout the dishes or that some salt and pepper were available on the tables. Otherwise a lovely little restaurant and a lovely evening meal.

Great surprise! Cosy location in a small street away from de crowds of the waterfront. The Menu is very generous and the pinacle is the cheese platter, offering great variety of niche cheese, all top quality. Strongly recommend for food lover.
