Excellent fish aïoli. Great Chardonnay. Very friendly hosts. A pity we were too tired (travelling day) to taste the desserts but we’ll be back!

Au Coeur du Panier was wonderful! The food was amazing. We had the aioli plate and fish plate. It was well prepared and tasted great. The service was very good and the staff were great. Definitely make this one of your stops for dinner!

I would walk 1,000 miles for the aioli cod. Third time here, perfect each time. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, excellent service.

great dinner, great service, and people that work there are very nice and kind. if you are planning to visite Marseille, certainly i have ti enyoij dinner there.

I ordered lamb chops rare - not only did they come out medium, but there was way more fat than meat. The server never came to check on how everything was till the end of the meal. When I told them how unhappy I was with my meal, they just said sorry and didn't offer to either remove the charge or at least offer us desert on the house. Would not recommend to anyone!

We chose the whole sea bass. It was nicely seasoned and beautifully cooked and served with a delicious aioli, polenta and an assortment of crisp vegetables.

We arrived, and they had no record of our reservation, but we able to seat us. We shared a baked camenbert to start which was delicious, but sadly only Italian sparkling wine on the menu, no French. The cheap prosecco was not good so we ordered a bottle of red wine instead, at €44 we expected it to be good but sadly the wine was no better. We moved onto the Beef Tartare for main - save yourself, the beef was minced so finely it was the texture of sausage meat, and the tartare just tasted of tomato ketchup. You expect food and wine to be good in France, I think this was the worst meal I've experienced in France and I've been many times. We had some delicious food in Marseille, just not here. Save yourselves

A very quaint place with excellent food and generous portions. We liked it so much, we went a second time with friends. Staff is very friendly and the wine really impressed my sommelier friend.

Great food, especially liked the Saint Jacques, nice setting in a cute alleyway in Le Panier - good view of the sunset too! Staff are nice and work hard to manage all the tables quickly!

After many subpar meals in marseille we were delighted to mange at au coeur du panier! Wonderful service and heavenly cuisine! Make sure to make a reservation and tip the staff as they truly deserve the extra coeur!

The food was good and our waitress a star, but we ate there with three kids. The lady in charge asked us to leave after the main course, because one of our kids was too loud (while we had half a bottle of wine left) Not family friendly!

Great food, atmosphere, service. Simple menu, fresh products, lovely street terrace. Open on Sunday. We enjoyed the evening and will come back again. Reservation is necessary.

Very nice small restaurant in the charming Panier district. Food is consistently delicious (try the « brouillade aux truffes » it’s a must) and service is very efficient and friendly. We always get there whenever we make a stop in marseille in our way to our vacation location

Very nice restaurant in the Panier. The menu is not too long . The dihes are very well done and beautiful too see . The staff is extremely kind .
