We arrived, and they had no record of our reservation, but we able to seat us. We shared a baked camenbert to start which was delicious, but sadly only Italian sparkling wine on the menu, no French. The cheap prosecco was not good so we ordered a bottle of red wine instead, at €44 we expected it to be good but sadly the wine was no better. We moved onto the Beef Tartare for main - save yourself, the beef was minced so finely it was the texture of sausage meat, and the tartare just tasted of tomato ketchup. You expect food and wine to be good in France, I think this was the worst meal I've experienced in France and I've been many times. We had some delicious food in Marseille, just not here. Save yourselves

10/10A very quaint place with excellent food and generous portions. We liked it so much, we went a second time with friends. Staff is very friendly and the wine really impressed my sommelier friend.

Great food, especially liked the Saint Jacques, nice setting in a cute alleyway in Le Panier - good view of the sunset too! Staff are nice and work hard to manage all the tables quickly!

10/10Sitting on a quiet pedestrian street on a beautiful September night, was just the start of this delicious meal. The service was friendly and helpful. Our server even called us a cab and escorted us to the pickup area after dinner. I had the scallops (32€), my companions had the cod and the fillet. All of our food was perfectly cooked and loaded with other vegetables. Since we were only in Marseille for a short overnight, I feel grateful for reviews that led us to this authentic little spot.

We loved this little place in Le Panier. Just what we were looking for on a Sunday night. Not a huge menu, but plenty of options and a nice wine list. Great service, as well!

10/10After many subpar meals in marseille we were delighted to mange at au coeur du panier! Wonderful service and heavenly cuisine! Make sure to make a reservation and tip the staff as they truly deserve the extra coeur!

5.5/10The food was good and our waitress a star, but we ate there with three kids. The lady in charge asked us to leave after the main course, because one of our kids was too loud (while we had half a bottle of wine left) Not family friendly!

10/10Very nice small restaurant in the charming Panier district. Food is consistently delicious (try the « brouillade aux truffes » it’s a must) and service is very efficient and friendly. We always get there whenever we make a stop in marseille in our way to our vacation location

10/10A real little treasure! Very small restaurant with an excellent cuisine, joyful coloured plates, reasonable prices and the most friendly staff. We go regularly and can recommend EVERYTHING on the menue.
