We went there on our first night out in Strasbourg and it was lovely! Vibrant atmosphere and quite a popular place, dishes were abundant and well cooked with a wide array of choices (local ones, too!). I’d definitely recommend it :)

We loved everything about this brasserie with the stylish decor and upstairs window side tables with view of the river and passersby. The staff were mostly young and quite professional. A truly different vibe than most of Strasbourg but with the same commitment to regional specialties. Don’t hesitate to give them a try.

We wanted to try some traditional Alsatian food and this restaurant was perfect. We selected from the set 3 course menu and the food was delicious with huge portions. The staff were lovely and service was great. Reasonably priced. Would recommend booking as all the tables were full.

As a solo diner I made a reservation for lunch on a Monday. I was greeted by the host and instructed to go to the upper level. This area is a bit more refined then the lower floor and I was seated along the windows. The waitress was friendly and helpful and I ordered the beef cheek with spritizle and a glass of red wine. The beef was excellent as it was very tender, the sauce favorable and not salty, and surprised on the amount of meat. The wine was okay but was nice to see the chef come out to great the diners.

The entrecôte was so bad and they have charged 100% which we couldn’t eat at all though!

What a delightful Christmas Day lunch we had here! The service was friendly and gracious, the ambiance was festive and relaxed, and the food was beautifully presented and executed. We felt it was an excellent value for a delicious meal in a lovely setting. Would happily return!

We loved everything about this restaurant! The decor was nice and comfortable. Not too crowded or noisy, very nice ambience! The service was friendly and efficient without feeling rushed and the food was top quality and value for money compared to other restaurants we have eaten at in the area. Probably one of the best steaks I’ve had, cooked to perfection and good quality beef. We did a set menu of entree main and dessert which included two glasses of wine. Good value for money and recommended!

Our server, Elie, was delightful. She gave us great recommendations and made the meal so enjoyable! The food was incredible and the prices were reasonable. (We went twice in 3 days and would love to go back!)

Lots of food options. Serving very generous. Crowded so service was slow. We had the chicken cordon bleu and the sauerkraut with six garnishes. Sauerkraut came with 3 different sausages, ham and potatoes. All good. Tiramisu was delicious! Definitely recommend.

The restaurant decor was nice and we really enjoyed our starter and entrees. The Coupe Schnockerloch was underwhelming with very little icecream or meringue and mostly filled with cream so would not recommend that dessert. The service was only ok and could be improved, and although first ones seated and ready to order, only returned to take our order after attending to 3 other parties who were seated after us.

We absolutely loved it! My husband and I were in Strausbourg for Christmas and dined here. My husband had the pork knuckle and I had filet. Both were exceptional. The service was great and the price was very reasonable. We would eat here again in a heartbeat.

Food was very good, perhaps a bit pricey for what it was. Service started off very well, but went downhill around the main course, I think due to short staffing, leaving us searching for waitstaff after the main course.

This place was extremely busy! I think it's where the locals eat, because we saw a birthday party in one corner and lots of people hugging the staff. Unfortunately for us that meant we had to wait for a while, but the food was very good. I got the traditional Flammkuechen and it was so tasty! My husband got something different from what he thought he ordered, but we think that was due to the language barrier. It was good, but he was hoping he had ordered something with sauerkraut. The side salads were substantial and a great pairing to the Flammkuechen.

This is my second visit here and it's always so generous and very authentic meals. So reasonable even if there're many tourists. No wonder the restaurant is so popular w/locals.

Very good food. We wanted to try the ribs, and we weren't disappointed. I also particularly enjoyed the tiramisu. I would say prices are average and the place has a local vibe. Will go again. They were also quite gracious given that we had to modify our reservation.

Excellent restaurant!!! Traditional alsatian cuisine, just delicious. I m from Alsace and the Tarte flambée was one of the best I ever ate, the Choucroute is absolutely delicious too and huge. Portions are generous, quality of the products is high. The Steak with pepper sauce was amazing too. All freshly made !! We will definitely come back and I can only recommend the place for tourists but also locals as the staff is extremely nice and the food is delicious.

Needed to wait a while to have the reserved table. The food was delicious. No air conditioning made the overall experience very good but not excellent

Typical Alsatian brasserie, this restaurant offers regional and delicious food. Let's not forget that the friendly staff and the cosiness of the ambiance also contributed to the success of our evening in Strasbourg.
