Fantastic food all around! One of our 4 did the Florentine steak and the others chose meals to complement it, and we all shared. VERY VERY delicious!

10/10We go to Florence a lot. When I saw this restaurant my first impression was that it was a tourist trap. However, when I walked inside, I was presently surprised by a beautiful restaurant. The food and service were excellent as well. I would not hesitate to go back.

We chose this restaurant for two reasons – its excellent rating and its closeness to the Palazzo Vecchio. When we made the reservation on The Fork, we discovered we would also be getting a 30% discount on the food, which was a lovely surprise. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and shown to a table inside. Our waiter was Edison. He has been in Italy for over 25 years and was originally from Albania. He was really great! We each enjoyed Ribollita alla Florentina to start. It is a Tuscan bread soup made with bread and vegetables and was delicious. My husband is a beef lover and what better place to enjoy beef than in this restaurant. He had the beef filet with Gorgonzola and walnut sauce while I enjoyed a plate of grilled vegetables – all accompanied by an excellent bottle of Pinot Grigio from Alto Adige. My husband had a Chocolate Panna Cotta for dessert. We highly recommend Edison and this restaurant.

A nice place with a new ambiance... at least outside. I was seated outside sadly, but it was still a nice place with heaters and all the staff checking in on me. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. I would highly recommend this place if you're a fan of Assassin's Creed and want to support Ezio Auditore and his family (he's fictional).

The atitudine of the staff was incredibly welcoming! They recommended the exactly kind of food we are looking for. Also the wine. The meat was exceptionally! The atmosphere was really Italian. The place is perfect near the walking area in “centro storico”

We went for a florentine steak and it was incredibly disappointing. We asked for a rare steak and it was definitely overcooked and very tough. Nothing special and wouldn't recommend for a steak especially given the price.

The meal was magnificent! We had the Chianina steak Florentine which was so tender and flavorful it makes you want to go back for more. The staff is very friendly and so helpful! We strongly recommend!

4/10The beef with gorgonzola is literally 5 thin slices of beef with a very liquid sauce that barelly resembles a gorgonzola (the menu doesn't state that the gorgonzola is sauce). The beet risotto with gorgonzola is also very disapointing, same gorgonzola sauce with no flavour at all. Prices are also high (of these 2 options) considering that the amount of food is lower than average restaurants in Firenze.
