We have visited Aurora Steakhouse several times and it is consistently good. The service is exceptional. The steaks are excellent. It is one of our favorite restaurants in Tavira

10/10The steak was amazing, we had ribeye and a t-bone so flavoursome and melt on your mouth. Sauces were good and sides were great. Starters were also so nice. The outside was less nice but please over look that as the food is a great find .

10/10Plenty of choice on the menu. Service was excellent. Waiter checked with us a number of times to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Food was very good - cooked exactly to our requirements. Desserts beautifully presented. Overall we had a great experience at the Aurora Steakhouse and would highly recommend this restaurant.

10/10Excellent service and food! We found this restaurant while walking around the city and made reservations for dinner. The staff was so friendly our servers were very friendly and provided great service and were very attentive. The food was excellent! We ordered the tomahawk steak, which was very large and could easily feed 3 adults. Our server recommended wine and gave us several options and the wine was very good. We ordered the cookie with ice cream for dessert and it was so good, they bake the cookie to order so it came nice and warm . I would definitely recommend this restaurant when you’re visiting or live in Tavira and you won’t be disappointed!

4/10There are many great places to eat in Tavira, this isn’t one of them . We ordered French onion soup , which turned out to be one large soggy piece of bread with melted cheese in a bowl with some mush underneath it . The T bone steak was at best average and the service was confused . We won’t be back .

10/10We all 4 agreed this was a fantastic dinner. The meat was fabulous and everything else. This is my second time and i must say even the vegan lasagne, which you do not expect at a steakhouse very special. Dessert were also very good baklava and chocolade cake!

10/10Staff were very welcoming when we arrived. They were excellent throughout our visit. Food was absolutely amazing. Steaks were cooked to perfection. We had a T-bone and a sirloin and both were excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant .

10/10Aurora is my favorite restaurant in Tavira. Filet Mignon, Salmon, the grilled pineapple are my favorites. Aurora’s take on Baklava layered with ice cream is an awesome dessert— big enough to share.

10/10This wasn’t our first time and definitely won’t be out last time at Aurora. We came back because it was so wonderful the first couple times and we will keep coming back because it has been so consistently good each time we’ve dined here. The staff attentiveness and the food are outstanding.

10/10When some reviewers say things like "Best restaurant in Tavira" or "We were in Tavira for 4 days and this is the best restaurant on the Algarve", they are clearly not qualified to say these things - did they really eat in every restaurant? We, however, have probably eaten in most restaurants in Tavira over the past 10 years and that has included Aurora at least 5 times, so we believe that we are qualified to say that (in our opinion) Aurora Steakhouse is where we consistently get the best meals and service.

6.5/10Sent sirloin back as very grizzly, then had to send second sirloin back as it tasted sour! Need better steaks try O, Castello Pity it's a nice restaurant with good service.

9/10The steaks were great and there were some really lovely touches such as choosing your steak knife. Big selection of side dishes, all of which were really good. The sauces we tried were also nice. Some of the party also had dessert which was a hit. Areas for improvement... The service is professional but would be even better with a smile and our party was irritated to find out we were charged 16 euros (4 euros a bottle) for chilled tap water (unfortunately this impacted the tip we would otherwise have given for what was a very enjoyable meal).

6/10When you can buy expensive wagyu steaks and Tomahawks, you do not expect to find plastics between the ham you order as an appetizer. Meat main course was fine, but nothing special. I guess there are better restaurants in Tavira. Staff is friendly though!

10/10This was our 3rd visit and on the walk there we swore that we were going to try something besides the tomahawk steak…anyway, we ordered the tomahawk to split between the 3 of us and it was incredible….like the previous 2 visits.
