8/10Service was generally excellent. The kitchen reportedly dropped the sauce for my steak. I had to point out the missing sauce and then it took a long time for the sauce to arrive. The steak cuts were a bit thin. But the drinks were excellent and the restaurant was lovely. We would return.

10/10We LOVED dining at Avenida! Truly 10 stars. The ambience was lovely, the food was exquisite, and the service was extraordinary. We had the most wonderful meal and will happily return! Muito Obrigada to Fabio, Vania, and the whole team!

8/10A bit difficult to find. Our Bolt driver had to circle then get out and scout on foot! Beautiful decor. Warm welcome from the staff. Octopus and Scallop dishes were excellent. Steaks were thin and overcooked. The ladies loved it. The gents not as much.

6/10So this was a bummer! We had our birthday dinner at this place and were so much in "awe" from the ambience and the service provided that we even mentioned to each other that we want to give this place 10 out of 5 stars! My partner ordered steak which was 35 euros - pretty steep for average Portuguese prices but we were okay to pay extra for good food and service, and I ordered shrimp patties. Little did we know that after finishing our dinner and visiting the grocery store 5-min away from there (to get a few things before our next morning flight) we saw exactly same shrimp patties for 80 cents each (where is my monkey with covered eyes emoji)!!! We felt so cheated and this completely ruined our birthday and celebratory mood. How the business that is trying to pose as a high-class establishment can even do this?! They are feeding off of good reviews left by fooled people who truly try to show appreciation to what is trying to pretend as high-quality food place. Extremely disappointing! I will still give 5 starts to both ambience and service to be very fair here, but I wish the place was also that fair to its customers.

10/10Lovely and beautiful restaurant! Friendly and attentive service. The steaks were delicious and very well done. I was not so fan of my cocktail (trust me you can dance), but the sunset cocktail was good. The dessert with pistachio was very nice too. Only a bit weird that the steaks price didn’t include not even one side dish in the original price; had to be paid extra… Not very cheap, but you pay for the lovely space, the location and the food and service. :) I’ll come back!

6/10This restaurant is attached to the five star hotel, Browns I believe and so expectations may have been higher than necessary. The staff were friendly and attentive, occasionally it felt they were trying too hard. I suspect many were new and they were keen to deliver a good service. Which I cannot fault but it did feel a little forced at times. The sound of breaking glasses behind the bar maybe suggested things just didn’t seem on point. The soup of the day was disappointingly very bland. The delivery of the main course went slightly awry, this was delivered to the neighbouring table and before the staff realised one of the dishes had begun to be devoured. Two of the three dishes eventually made it to our table and an apology from the manager to say the third dish would need to be recooked and would follow in 10 minutes. The manager was very apologetic and brought out some free starters for our person missing their main meal to enjoy until it was ready. The desserts were enjoyed, particularly the chocolate cake. All in all, our expectations when we walked in were very high, unfortunately it didn’t live up to them for us on this occasion.

9/10We made a bit of a last minute reservation and were relieved that we got such a great experience. The service was super nice, my son was very satisfied with his portions and mine were quite good too. The steaks were high quality and drinks were amazing. My son loved his desert, it was the apple pie, my desert the rice porridge was okay. The price was quite high, but everything was clearly presented on the menu. We will probably go there a second time during our visit to try something else as well.

5.5/10Beautiful setting and ambiance. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. However the food was disappointing on many levels. The chicken had so much salt (2 people ordered and same result) that it wa inedible. Also all the portions were on the small side considering the pricing. We wanted to love it but unfortunately we left disappointed.

9/10Can‘t say much about the food as we only had two salads but everything else was perfect. Service was absolutely perfect. Kind and welcoming staff, well trained, helpful and nice. We felt so welcome there. Ambiance was great, we loved the mix between bar and restaurant with the great music (mostly french house when we were there) wonderful cocktails (great classics and creative signature drinks) and the cosy, warm and very tasteful modern decor. If you‘re looking for this kind of atmosphere and don‘t mind the slightly elevated prices I can strongly recommend this place for you!

10/10Found this spot very last minute, looking for a nice dinner spot. Was not disappointed! So thankful we ended up here. Service was amazing, ambiance was perfect, beautiful atmosphere with the best wait staff. Not to mention the food and drinks were amazing! Best meal in Lisbon thus far. Jessica was especially helpful and so so sweet! Would definitely recommend and will be back.

5/10It started good but went down from there. We started with drinks, they were great. The starters were big but a bit tasteless. Needed more salt and lime. When the main course arrived the sauce was separated, we sent it back and after more than 5 minutes they came back with it, not separated but not good. We ordered meat medium rare but it was well done. No one asked if we wanted something else to drink to the main course, we hade to get the waiter’s attention to be able to order. When the check arrives they have added a cover charge…. Overpriced place with ok food and service.

6/10Waited almost 2 hours for our food. This was a last-minute reservation that needed approval for our big group of 13, I understand the influx could have been tough on the kitchen but I had to ask after 1.5 hours where our food was, no one was keeping us informed. In fact it seemed like we were being avoided by our server. The food was just okay especially after a long wait, not sure I would recommend this for a large group.

9.5/10A lovely meal in a wonderful restaurant. The team were excellent and friendly. The food was delicious. A little quiet, so ambience was not as lively as it might have been. Not the cheapest (250 euros for four) for two courses with cocktails and wine. Would visit again though for another special occasion.

7.5/10We ordered Cesar Salad. It had no Cesar dressing. Instead it came with plane mayonnaise. Instead of crunchy croutons it came with squares of fresh soft bread and rucola instead of iceberg lettuce. We weren’t charged for that and we were told that it was a chef’s creation. We also ordered “rissois de camarao”, a lot of dough and very, very small piece of shrimp. Meat dishes were very good and octopus salad was good as well. You have to order side dishes separately which makes this dishes expensive. The place is nicely decorated with lots of beautiful plants and waiters are kind and nice. So… I have mixed feelings about the place but would not go back.

9.5/10Located in Brown's Avenida Hotel, this is a great spot for lunch. Excellent food and service in an unhurried atmosphere with decent prices for a hotel restaurant. Been twice and enjoyed both occasions. Only issue on this last visit was the background music was a little loud.

9.5/10The service was great! Our waiter recommended excellent wine to go with Iberian ham appetizer, Picpau and the Portuguese steak. The truffle mashed potatoes and green beans were excellent too. Really delicious!
