The food was ok, the flavours were nice but the sauces were just too watery and the creamed spinach was very watery too, like a soup. Difficult to eat. Service was good.

Overnight stop in Lisbon , had a great evening at Avenida , lovely room with good ambiance, professional and friendly service , Miguel our waiter was excellent , food really enjoyable , and decent wine selection , would highly recommend

Avenida Restaurant was one of our favorite dining experiences throughout Spain & Portugal. Having one of the nicest & most informative servers only helped to elevate our experience. Every dish we ordered, as well as the food they additionally brought to our table was amazing. Some of our favorites were the Pica-pau, the cod fish, burrata salad with cherry tomatoes & the tagliatelle with veal ragu.

We have a most enjoyable dinner at Avenida restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their entrees and desserts were exquisite. Our server was Natan who was very sweet and attentive.

Food and location were good however service was just terrible. Although our waiter tries very hard, he seemed he was the only one working the room . our Water took over an hour and 4-5 requests to get, we had to ask for a 2nd bottle of wine about 6 times ( over an hour to get ), time between first and 2nd course was far too long. We were told that 3 waiters were sick and absent, which is understandable, however there were other staff there that really were doing their best to ignore the calls. For the high price this restaurant charges, it really has to fix it's service. Very frustrating.

The staff once in and seated were amazing and so attentive, I say this because there was no welcome at the door and you hang around not knowing what is happening. The drinks choice was amazing of both wine and cocktails. The food menu was varied and excellent. I had the tuna tartare which I personally found too salty but very well done, then the rib eye steak which was cooked perfectly and I had some rustic chips with it again very nice.

Wonderful, pleasant, and timely service with delicious food in appropriate proportions and great cozy modern ambiance. They do not have high chairs for children (?broken) but kindly accommodated us on the sofa seats which worked very well. I would return in a heart beat. Try the slice lemon meringue and enjoy the plate it comes on!

The restaurant is beautiful, the staff are friendly, professional and attentive. The food was fantastic and made you want more, even though you are full. We had a wonderful dining experience and thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

We stopped into Avenida on our first night in Lisbon. The food was excellent, the ambiance was fantastic and the vibe was outstanding. Claudio made the evening complete with his excellent service. We will be back the next time we are in Lisbon.

We made somewhat last-minute reservations, and it turned out to be the best meal—and the best service—we’ve had on our trip. Marta was incredibly kind and intuitive, and the entire team made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. The steak was perfectly cooked and presented in such a unique, inviting way. We were surprised with thoughtful treats from the kitchen, and when they found out it was my mom’s birthday, the staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate in a truly special way. If you’re looking for a fine dining experience that’s both elevated and heartfelt, this is the place.

We booked this restaurant for Xmas eve meal for my partner and I. The ambiance was really nice and the service very attentive. However as this was Xmas eve meal it had a set menu . One us is vegetarian and this was stated at the time of the booking. Well , the menu only had two vegetarian dishes ( 3 for no vegetarian) and they were very average. The mushrooms soap was tasteless and the zucchini flower dish lack texture. No bread or any aperitif was served. At €120 per person it was very disappointing. My partners non veg dishes were decent . The fish was very tasty and turkey the best one he had . The desert was really nice and the wine was good. It’s a shame , I really looked forward to have the Xmas mean there

This was the ultimate food experience during our one week stay in Lisbon. The food, the surroundings, the atmosphere and last but not least; the service. Our waitress Patricia was so sweet, genuine and very professional. She took a little time to talk to us and she was so good in guiding us through the food experience. Amazing that such a young girl can be so great at her job. She even gave us the recipe for our new favorite dish “Pica Pau”. All our expectations and needs were met and more. Warmest recommendation.

Beautiful ambiance and the food and service were excellent. Grilled octopus was very good and served over mashed sweet potatoes. New York steak very good and served medium and thin presentation. Drinks were excellent too

Outstanding service, wonderful ambience, great menu choices, excellent food and drinks. This was our first time in Lisbon and we will come back to this restaurant whenever we are back in town..
