10/10In addition to the excellent food and wine, the people behind the restaurant are superb! They are incredibly warm and welcoming, that's definitely why our experience was very special.

6.5/10We tried the Avenir tasting menu of 20 dishes and although some dishes were very creative the portion sizing was not ideal - the first 15 dishes were half bite size. In my opinion it would have worked out a lot better if there were less dishes but larger portions.

10/10When we first arrived, we thought, "Is this place really a Michelin Restaurant?" Oh. Hell. Yeah. It was. Literally had some of the very best food we've ever had, and I've been to over 10 Michelin restaurants and countless other highly-rated James Beard or Bib Gourmand places. This one was in the top 5 for us. It's the Lebron James of restaurants. You cannot and will not regret this choice.

10/10We had a great experience, no complaints at all. :) I had the lunch version of a tasting menu and my husband chose the 3 course lunch menu. All dishes were creative and unexpected combos of fantastic flavours. We had a fantastic time, thank you!

10/10I fly all the way here from Canada to eat here. It's my favourite restaurant experience in Barcelona. The quality of the dishes can't be beat. It's casual, unpretentious and an amazing meal each time. They put so much care into the food and are so proud to explain the dishes and ingredients. I can't wait to return.

10/10+4The restaurant really impressed us with the great gastronomic knowledge of the staff and enthusiasm. The sommelier made great recommendations of wine based on the price level we selected. He also explained the dishes very well to help us with ordering. Every member in the restaurant is sincere and helpful. The dishes are delicious, fresh and creative. The portion is just right comensarate with the price. We really enjoyed our dinner

10/10Took my family to this restaurant while on vacation in Barcelona. We knew it would be a little adventurous for our boys but they absolutely loved the food and were amazed by the different presentations and flavors. We had the full tasting menu, which was unique, engaging, and, more than anything, delicious. This was one of our best food experiences.

9.5/10Better than most of the Michelin Star Restaurants we have been to. The best meal in 9 years. Inventive 12 course tasting menue, subtle flavour combinations and textures, containing some traditional reagional ideas reinterpreted. Great service team that clearly enjoy to make guests feel good. Service and kitchen give the best whereas in many gourmet restaurants unless you do have a contact respected by them who will recommend you, you get dishes far below what they could do if they tried.

10/10We arrived at #avenir (Must say it is a cute place). You can tell when a restaurant loves what they do and wants to share their enthusiasm. The food and service could not have been better. Every dish was a little revelation on a plate. The Catalan dishes are fun and contemporary with a slightly irreverent touch that are perfect for sharing. And we were smitten by our charming and great waiter who seemed to radiate joy. Hopefully this place will get more reviews. Certainly the recent recognition by Michelin is deserved.

10/10It was so good, I went again and this time they offered some off-menu items that were incredible. They recognized me and took the time to explain everything to me once again. This really was a beautiful experience. The food is just that good. Simple but complex dishes, high quality ingredients, unique flavours. I love the mix of traditional and contemporary. I can't wait to return when I'm in Barcelona again. This is a gem.

10/10Whatever you imagine while reading the menu, is nothing compared to what you’ll experience. That is because Avenir is not a common place where you’ll eat things that you already knew. This place is special enough to make you travel through fireworks of tastes never seen before. The waiters are also extremely good guides to explain and advise you. Highly recommended!

10/10What a lovely experience. They are as welcoming as you can get. A quiet, peaceful, immaculately presented lunch. Michelin-guide worthy but needs a star. The food is fresh, beautiful, and delicious. The pricing is absolutely reasonable for what you get. They put so much thought and care into these dishes. The wine recommendations were on point. I will return again for dinner. There were regulars, locals, tourists, couples on a date, a few kids. Very cozy and unique decor. I had the duck (best duck I've ever had), scallops, anchovies and olive oil cake. All perfect. Definitely recommended. A must-eat experience in Barcelona.
