Spicy beetroot salad. Rich lamb stew. Dry honey wine from Ethiopia. Red Pinotage wine from South Africa. Small baklava dessert with African mango beer. All tasty but the discount was only applied to the main course, not the starter or dessert. Fork offer said discount is on a la carte menu and didn’t mention only main courses.

Despite the place being not crowded, we experienced a very long waiting time to be served. Some of the dishes listed on the menu where not available; some have been served in a number less than the expected one with the justification that now they make 'bigger pieces', so what was 3 is now 2. Atmosphere quite informal.

The experience was unique, only a handful of Ethiopian dining opportunities in my past. Waitress was kind and patient. I ordered the special platter in order to try an assortment of dishes. All in all, the taste was ok, nothing extraordinary. Next time, I’ll try the lamb!

It was my first time at an Ethiopian restaurant. The food was great. I really enjoyed it but couldn’t finish because the portion was quite large. The waiting time was a bit long but I wasn’t in a hurry. Will come back

Visited whilst on holiday. A great restaurant worth a trip out from the centre. Authentic delicious Ethiopian food. Popular with the locals - which is always a good sign.

What excellent quality and affordability! The flavours are delicious, the staff is kind, and the place is no-nonsense and authentic. Try their home-made Ethiopian mead! I loved the kale, the fish, lentils, cabbage, beets, fluffy cottage cheese, and the marinated beef

We frequently go to this restaurant every time we have an itch for Ethiopian food. We’re never disappointed! Always have a great tasty meal and drinks that’s really affordable for Amsterdam! Always recommend 🫶🏽

The food was normal. The restaurant doesn't look very nice inside, the service is very mediocre. We waited one hour to get the food, and the restaurant was pretty much empty. Same song played over and over.
