We chose padron peppers and chicken popcorn for starters. The peppers were superb, done with a nice variation. Chicken popcorn was a generous portion. For main we had chilli burrito and chilli con carne. Chilli burritos were excellent, huge portion. Chilli azteca was mediocre but the staff were superb. We didn’t have time for desert but will definitely return and try other dishes.

They should say it’s TEX-MEX food (kinda Taco Bell) the food it’s not poor quality but if you are expecting something nearly like real Mexican food this is not the place at all. At least they should hire some Mexican staff because there was a blond waitress who was not enjoying her job at all and seemed very annoyed with everyone in there.

The food was quite good and only gripe was I asked if my chilli could be spicy and was told no. Surely it can be that hard to add a little spice to it but the waitress was adamant it was a firm no. Generous portions.

The food was overpriced. 6€ for one taco is a bit too expensive and on top of that my tacos were missing two of the toppings that were mentioned in the menu. The food was tasty and the passion fruit frozen margarita was great. We had 50% off the food since we booked with the fork so the final bill was acceptable. Nice staff.

Food was good, service excellent, the server was really professional and went to the kitchen to check on options for me as I have some allergies. Tacos were excellent. Wine list extremely limited. Not everyone drinks Tequila. Only negative point was the loud Rap music, which made us leave as quickly as possible. Definitely need more relaxing appropriate music for a restaurant atmosphere.

Very disappointing venue….the food was ‘ok’ at best (but all carby ‘finger food’ really, no hearty spicy Mexican foods), no zero beers on the menu and no wine by the glass (we’re in Portugal!) so we drank water, the food was bland and needed spicing up but they even charged for the spicy sauce (it’s a MEXICAN restaurant for goodness sake!)…we definitely won’t be going back. The staff were keen to please us but then didn’t want to hear about my bad experience / my opinions. Tbh customer feedback is key IF you listen to it.

we were the only people in the restaurant at 3pm today. meat came out dry, hard to chew & well done even though we ordered it medium. credit card machine didn't work after multiple attempts.

I thought the bang bang taco was very good but quite small. If it were two I'd give it a glowing review. But everything was pretty yummy though the birria taco wasn't as flavourful as I'd like. I may be back. Really lovely ambiance and service.

Market day in Cascais & decided to try Azteca for the first time.. Very pleasant helpful staff. Quick service. Meticulously prepared, delicious Tacos! Pleasant ambience with a view of the hussle & bustle of my favourite Mercado, people watching! Will definately return to try other dishes. 👍👍🌺

Food was tasty with some different options compared to other Mexican spots we have been too. The service although friendly was not good, not sure if related to an issue in the kitchen that day (Mothers day) or just unaligned staff which there seemed to be no shortage of… we waited at least 15m to order besides items that got forgotten.

Our first time and we were delighted with the food and excellent service. Felt very welcome and the staff had some great suggestions on what to order. One suggestion though- please improve the lighting. It’s too dull / moody. Be nice to have it just a bit brighter

The food was very good but the tacos were small two would be better than one .The menu was extensive in book, and it was not that easy to sort thru .The shrimp quesidilla was a good choice for dinner it had 4 and could be split .The 50 percent off offers a great discount.The margaritas were excellent.. Our waitress spoke limited English, which made it difficult to ask questions or receive recommendations.
