Very tasty food with the option to wind up the heat on each dish if needed. Papaya salad and scallops in red curry sauce were stand outs for me . Excellent service from knowledgeable staff and nice surroundings .

BAAN was highly recommended by our neighbours. It did not disappoint at all. The food was of high quality and amazing, the service was impeccable when we had lunch on Saturday, August 17th. We wanted to go back for lunch on Sunday but it was unfortunately closed. We will for sure be back when we are in Lisbon. The BEST Asian/Thai food in Lisbon. Keep up the good work!!

the Massamam curry we ordered had only 3 or 4 small piece or chicken. at 22€, it seems a bit over price. Food tasted good but not exceptional enough to justify the price.

The service is impeccable: friendly and welcoming and very eager to make sure you are enjoying your food. The food is outstanding, from the perfectly crunchy, light and flavorful spring rolls (so good we had 3 orders!) to the succulent scallop curry, Thai bbq ribs and delicious coconut ice cream. The recommended wine was excellent too. One thing to note is Thai chilis are hot, so if you want a mild spicy then choose mild. One of us ordered medium spicy and he needed to ask for more coconut milk to reduce the heat. Also, this is an upscale but unfussy place: be prepared to pay for the excellence BAAN provides; you will find it is well worth it!

The food was actually very good and the servants quite friendly and attentive. However the music was too loud, and when that happens people start speaking louder as well. With two groups in the dining room, the atmosphere was totally ruined, which is a shame because the food is really worth trying!

Excellent food: very tasty, elaborated and nicely presented dishes. Very friendly and attentative staff. Only downside is the relatively early closure time (22:30) but that seems common in Lisbon.

The first time I went was when they had just opened and I love it. Fresh authentic Thai aromatics and spice level as required. 2nd time around, I was super disappointed as the food had been watered down, asked for spice, and it wasn't even close to black pepper spicy. Staff are super friendly and kind. The place is busy now with mostly expats, hence pricey. I will go back for sure to give it one more chance.

A real Thai experience in Lisbon. Jerome and Caroline created a delicious place to savor Thai cuisine in Lisbon. Location very appropriate, close to Parque Eduardo VII. The starters, the main dishes and the dessert are outstanding. We have started with Chicken Skewers, main courses Pat bai grapao and Moo Rob with stir fried Mimi. For dessert we shared a Kha niew mamuang and a Banana Roti. It was everything perfect and of course everything with the delicious sauces from the traditional Thai cuisine. Definitely recommended.

Long wait and was not crowded. Average Thai food. More dark near chicken is used in curry dishes and pad Thai has heavy use of red chili flakes.

Dear Michael, we are very surprised by your comments. You wanted the Xmas Menu with an arrangement. We did it exceptionally. At the end, you ended up with a Pad Thai shrimps and the spicyness via the Chili flakes was adjusted by you. Plus the farm chicken in the curry was not dark but colored by the massaman curry you chose. Why you did you not share with us this issue when you were in the restaurant instead of telling us that you loved the food ? Thank you for your visit .

Went with my family, we had a great lunch, the staff were all very friendly and attentive, the owner went to our table to help us choose since we were unsure of some of the things and later he checked on us to get our feedback, very nice and sweet, the food was delicious, as there were 5 of us we were able to experience a little of everything, and this was the best Pad Thai I've ever eaten. Will definitely come back to eat all the others dishes that we didn't try!

Best Thai food ever in Lisbon. The owner and his staff were very accommodating and friendly. When the food I ordered arrived, the aroma of Thai Street food drifted in and took to far far away land. I have missed authentic Thai cuisine for 2 years now and have discovered the place to go. Have suggested they add some more items to the menu, shall go back for sure, with a bigger crowd. We'll done, khap khun kha.

Proper Thai food! I love Lisbon, but so far it was always a hustle to find a proper Thai restaurant, but this new place is great! I have been many times to Thailand and cook myself very good Thai food and I can highly recommend this restaurant! We will be back!

We were craving Thai food and wanted to give this place a try as our hotel was very close. Absolutely loved the chicken green curry, crab fried rice, and Thai spare ribs! The lychee martini was also very good! Authentic flavors and reasonable price for the quality you get. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They’ve only been open a month so not a ton of business yet, but definitely give this place a shot! The best Thai food I’ve ever had (from someone who has eaten Thai throughout the world and in Thailand)!
