10/10Small rustic out of the way spot. Absolutely loved the food. Staff was amazing and the owner was so friendly We had the burr att a Octupus Pasta pesto All was so delicious. I personally had the pasta bolognese. The best I’ve ever had.

9.5/10The food and waitress were excellent, the male waiter not so much. Bacaro is a great little place offering terrific food at very reasonable prices. The wine list could be bigger but what we had (Sicilian bio Syrah) was very nice. But, as so often the bill arrived with the option to pay in USD. This is a scam! And it does no favors for the restaurants and other merchants who are paid to participate! All it does is tarnish the experience, and their reputations.

10/10Very Nice and cozy place. The service is excelent and the food is deliciuos. If you haven’t tried it then you have to. Very small place but you will remember it for the rest of your life.

9.5/10The place is very cozy but it also gets super busy…we did enjoy all of our meals and the tasty wine. The only thing is that I believe it’s a bit pricey :/ but overall we had an amazing dinner with my friend and I definitely will come back!

10/10It was such a nice experience! The restaurant is super cozy and the food was delicious! Seafood carbonara was very nice and was amazing to have a carbonara with a twist! The waiters were also super nice and good recommendations for wine!

9/10A friend gave us a recommendation to try this Bacaro and didn't steer us wrong! It was excellent. Great drinks, breads and olives to start. We had the fried artichoke appetizer which was very good and interesting. We had two main dishes...the Pasta Carbonara del Mar and the Duck. The pasta was as good or better than the pasta we had in Italy. The pasta was a provocation of Pasta Carbonara as it didn't have any bacon in it, but instead fish. It did not taste fishy however and was absolutely delicious. I could eat this dish everyday. The duck was equally good, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. It had a sweet sauce and was paired with cooked fruits that brought out the duck flavor.

4/10Service was rushed. We were there for New Year’s Eve and we didn’t know we had to clear the table in under two hours. Should’ve been told when we made reservation. Finally, the food was not as expected. I mean raw shrimps?! Who eats that? I came for Italian food and got experimental Italian food. Not cool with four teenagers.

5/10Food was good. But—We were waited on one time throughout the night. We then asked for a check 5 times before they brought it to us, waited 45 minutes for a check and there was 8 people in the restaurant. Water ran out and did not get the chance to order more. We required a reservation which we had, but there was over 20 places to eat with no reservations available online…. Doesn’t make sense. Food is good if you can look past service.

10/10Best restaurant we could have asked for on our last night in Barcelona! Small, simple, but beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance. The staff made great recommendations and were very friendly. The food was excellent, and the wine pairing could have not been better. You must try the Pappardelle con ragu, we did not want to finish the plate. Make the reservation, you will not regret it!

10/10Bacaro is the best Italian restaurant we tried in Barcelona after 4 years living here. A bit on the expensive side but totally worth it. I would definitely suggest that for a special occasion.
