Osteria Al Bacco Felice enjoys an excellent location, few steps away from Spoleto's Cathedral Square and offers a wide range of local dishes in a setting that, without being sunny, is pretty even though noisy when full. The quality of food is acceptable and the prices reasonable. Not a fancy place but a restaurant to recommend for a quick meal while visiting Spoleto historical centre.

Osteria Bacco Felice enjoys an excellent location, just off the Duomo Square of Spoleto. The restaurant setting is pretty nice and the service is rather informal yet very friendly, even if those characters prevail on professional knowledge of the waiters. The choice of dishes is rather traditional but quite large and the quality of the food is fair, without reaching any excepti0nal level.

Being older, we often share several courses instead of each ordering a full meal. Our waiter was very kind about splitting each course or providing share plates so we could try as many flavors as possible. The filetto di manzo blanketed with shaved black truffles was amazing, grilled rare as we like it, and the Montefalco Sagrantino one of the best red wines of memory. Although we had to ask for the discount provided by our booking with La Forchetta, they granted it readily and made the bill very reasonable.
