Initially all went well. We decided on the tasting menu and I opted for the wine pairing. The first three courses were delicious, as were the wines. Then we were served one horrible course (Black pork) which was inedible being all fatty and gristly. This was replaced with a piece of undercooked beef and three dry potato slices. Then an underwhelming dessert of sponge roll and two raspberries was the end of the meal. What started out with such promise ended up as feeling very much like a standard hotel restaurant experience. The service was very patchy at best. Not an evening I would rush to repeat.

The hotel is so beautiful, and the staff are friendly and professional. Unfortunately the food is fine ~ that’s all. It could be improved to meet the hotel level.

Amazing view, super quite and very friendly service. The White Sangria was absolutely delicious I was positively surprised by the fact you could book dinner at 5pm. However, the only menu available at that time was the snacks menu… We had two burgers with french fries. Very average, fries tasted a little too oily.

Difficult to find as we were unaware that the restaurant is inside an IHG hotel. Staff were excellent. Food was decent not great BUT very pricey for Portugal.

So very disappointed with the experience at the hotel restaurant We have visited this beautiful hotel numerous Times for drinks and dinner We had dinner earlier the week before and had a fabulous meal and experience so you can imagine how disappointed we were to find the staff so unfriendly and so unprofessional we did not have a meal there was a mix up with the tables and the staff were busy so we left we did inform the staff how disappointed We were leaving and no attempt was made to encourage us to stay So very sorry to write this negative review about such a lovely hotel and restaurant and normally lovely staff ( we attended the restaurant on Tuesday 24 may )

Very nice and attentively served meal with a beautiful view. With a relatively small menu, multiple unavailable items was a bit of a disappointment.
